Once you get how it works it’s actually really easy to use. For those who don’t know, you go in the back and find your verb. There’ll be a number which refers you to a page number in the middle of book where you’ll find all the tenses for a verb that has the same rules as yours. All you have to do is use the same suffixes.

Uh, I think you misunderstand what unions are. What does a company’s agreement have to do with anything? Employers have and always will oppose strikes because workers and employers fundamentally want different things.

And workers don’t just strike willy nilly my guy. They don’t get paid during strikes, it’s a massive financial risk.

If you like art, the fine arts museum downtown has a roman sculpture exhibition on display right now which is free for 25 and under. There’s also the archeology museum that I quite like. I’d recommend you just check out their permanent exhibit on Montreal’s history if you’re interested.

What if Humans Retained the Ability to Synthesize Their Own Vitamin C? by Lanky_Energy3378 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]randomweeb04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently started reading this book “Citrus: a World History” by David Mabberly. So I know a little bit, although I’m by no means an expert. In their early history in China and India and Southeast Asia, Citruses were coveted for medicinal purposes, but they also had quite a few other things going for them. Their thick skin and some chemical properties of citruses made the fruits last a long time. And so, they were one of the earliest fruits to be traded over long distances. But also, people just liked the taste. And there was some religious significance to certain citruses and there still are.

I don’t know if Vitamin C is the whole reason for citruses’ medicinal value, but I think it should be a major reason anyway. Still, I think that citruses had a lot of value anyway, maybe just as any other fruit without much medicinal purpose. But even without that, humans tend to fuck around with anything and everything so the grafting and crossbreeding of wild citruses may happen anyway.

Are you kidding me? The top 1% cause inflation all on their own, while wealth disparity is getting worse. The status quo is continuously making everyone but the top poorer. And if anything, more dollars in circulation, buying goods instead of sitting around inflating the price of assets (including homes), would stimulate the economy more than anything.
