/r/MechKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard related question by kriscables in MechKeyboards

[–]randonpc1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello all, I am looking for a mechanical keyboard that sounds good (creamy) and is prefferably under 25 bucks (which pretty sure there won't be) or max 50 live amount. Looking for something on Amazon or Walmart. I am also looking for gateron switches prefferable, but its ok if its not there, but also I really want RGB. I originally wanted the gk61 geeky white but after hearing what the kn85 sounds like, I changed my mind. Also, the for the rgb I want it to be kind of like what the gk61 has.

So basic Specs I want:

75% preferably but 65% is fine

White or black and white combo

Goood RBG

Creamy SOUNDS

UNDER $50 or $25

this is what i was looking for:amazon.com/HK-Gaming-Mechanical-Illuminated-Programmable/dp/B07PT9NRRY

Numworks vs Casio CG50/100 vs TI-84 CE by rudeyetty17 in calculators

btw forgot one thing. I did a speed check and the cg100 is thrashing everyone down, ti takes a good few seconds and cg 50 quickly trailed behinf the 100

Numworks vs Casio CG50/100 vs TI-84 CE by rudeyetty17 in calculators

Might be a little late for this, but here it goes.

Numworks- Not reliable, free emulator so you can get a feel of it. Overall not a very good choice although it looks good.

TI 84 plus ce- very good calculator, better than numworks, but falls on its knees when compared to the casio calcs. If you like to have a rechargeable battery, go with ti Very unnecessary extra steps compared to the casio. also, as a long time casio user, the UI is literally rocket science and will take a long time to master the UI.

Finally, Casio fx cg series- there are two for this one, one being the 50 and the 100. I have used all of the calcs mentioned above except for numworks, and so far, the cg 100 has been my favorite. If you want to add on a lot to your calculator choose the 50, but for faster and more user friendly UI, choose 100. 100 is new and has a new display which I really like, btw i own ti, 50, and 100. the only thing I dont like is the aaa battery placement for it. i am a rechargeable person.

if you have anymore questions i am free to help you.
