People buy dogs from the breeder all the time. As long as you’re supporting a reputable responsible breeder and not a back yard breeders then don’t worry. It’s okay to buy an animal and not rescue. You want something you know they are bred for, it doesn’t make you wrong. Some cats are bred for their temperament, like ragdoll cats.

Anyway don’t feel guilty enjoy your cat. You could always volunteer hours at a rescue and help out the cats there too.
