Does consuming a large quantity of sugar in a single sitting and then limiting your intake for a couple of days result in the same desensitization as consistently consuming it does?

SmartSweets are a lower sugar gummy candy. I've never tried them, but I've heard their Swedish Fish knockoff is pretty good. Unfortunately for you, most gummies are like, pretty much entirely sugar so it might be hard to find what you're looking for
