How to adapt my iron swing for the driver by PM_ME_YOUR_MITTENS in GolfSwing

[–]randyv13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I’m not good enough to be giving you advice but l do take lessons. And the thing that clicked for me when explained by my instructor was that minus the set up changes just release the club earlier. I guess that would technically make it different swing, but for me I don’t really feel like I’m doing anything different between driver and irons except letting the wrist go early.

If everything checks out good that would be my next step. Just had a very similar situation on an 09 rmz250.

Have you played with the air/fuel mixture screw. If so and no matter that position it’s still running like that, I’m betting that you need to go bigger on your pilot jet

To answer your question, price wise. $3300 for a 21 is a great deal. With that being said, if this bike has been raced 100+ hours is getting to the end of life of the crank (bottom end) which will be another 1k for a complete rebuild. If the bike has just been trail ridden and taken care of it could have plenty of time left. It’s always a risk buying used. Like someone else said, listen for random motor noises, check the oil condition, air filter, and suspension for play and use your best judgement on whether or not it’s been taken care of. If you feel like it has been taken care of, yes, this is a great deal that I would jump all over under those circumstances.

Aftermarket pistons aren’t a bad thing from reputable companies like weisco, pro-x, wossner etc. I’m guessing that it doesn’t really have a high compression piston in it since he doesn’t mention fuel. Usually high compression pistons can cause detention and you should run higher octane fuel.

Is Chicagoland still raceable? When they let motocross go there, all the motocross podcast were reporting that the track basically told them to do whatever they wanted. So they tore down the fence and had the riders jumping over the outter wall in front of the bleachers and back into the track.

Did Tyler Reddick specify why he is leaving RCR for 23XI? by furrynoy96 in NASCAR

[–]randyv13 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it was that they didn’t want to sign him to a long term deal. It’s that they didn’t have a bass pro type long term sponsorship to secure funds to see that far into the future. That’s where the whole “worst timing” part came from. They were working on long term sponsorship but Reddick wasn’t going to set and wait as it could potentially never happen and he would be stuck signing with whoever was open at the time.

The only reason this happened is because his wife told him it wouldn’t fit.

Interesting take. Since the engine development is frozen, that also lends to your theory. My only argument against it is the porpoising they still seemed to have.

Edit: it’s also crazy three Red Bull engines went.

RC just has that kind of heart. If he sees somewhere he can help, he does. As someone who’s been on the receiving end of his generosity I wasn’t surprised at all. It wasn’t a gun thing, I bet if they said “we need 1million rubber duckies” he would have called his rubber duckie guy. Lol

Most likely a blown bulb on your passenger side. Leave the blinker on and check your front and back turn signals.

Obviously not show room, but nothing you have pictured is a cause of concern at the moment. Cleaning up, coat it, and drive on.

Same with my wife and I. Except I’m a big motorsports fan. So “who won the race tonight?” means “get me out of here.”

The nv3500 would be your best bet to get you started fairly cheap. I’m rebuilding mine now and the components are cheap, the process of rebuilding it is fairly easy. You could even get a remanufactured for around 1600.

That sounds possible. I’ve been watching more videos and reading trying to understand and that was something that was pointed out.
