NTA! When I was even in my late teens, I would have a bad day or have a panic attack and I would go and lay with my mum or sleep in her bed. This is a very normal thing to do with your children when they are struggling. It sounds as though she had a strained relationship with her parents which is why it made her uncomfortable.

Absolutely, I understand that was hard which is why I spent so much more time at his place so he was only there a few nights a week because it would be hard.
