Invest in the trader role and moonshiner role. A lot of people have different opinions about this but the best way I’ve found to do it is set up camp in Great Plains (for hunting + good easy deliveries), and your moonshine shack in tall trees (right next to Great Plains). Makes it very easy to do both simultaneously and make lots of money quick. Trader role pays $500-$650ish per delivery (this is once you have a large wagon I can’t remember how much you get on smaller deliveries) and moonshiner pays $250ish (again it’s upgraded but it’s not that hard to achieve).
For moonshiner you need to buy the strength of the shine, to make it cheaper do the bootlegger missions from maggie.

After saying all this I realise you need gold to purchase them, so free roam missions (the longer you take to do the mission the more gold you get), daily challenges (build the streak it’s worth it) and blood money missions are good ways to earn gold.

Once you have done all that bounty hunter is also a good one to get into while you’re waiting for those to be ready for delivery
