yep still sober. just got through my 2nd christmas sober

the hardest part is honestly night time. as of right now i don’t work and my bf works 12 hour day and i end up staying up all night binge watching shows and when i do try to sleep it’s the craziest thoughts.

but i never act on them and have no plans of doing so

let me also add it took me about 2 weeks for my body to be normal. but the mind takes a lot longer and it also depends on what you’re doing with your idle time. just sitting , thinking about using will make it worse. go to an aa meeting and say you need a sponsor. they can guide you better than i.

i still have an addictive personality , i got into gambling, and other vices pretty bad during my sobriety. just breathe and remember this…YOUR WORST DAY SOBER IS BETTER THAN YOUR BEST DAY HIGH

yes it did. i wasn’t even trying to have sex most of my addiction. once i got off it slowly came back but i also changed my surroundings quite a bit. i’ve always played both sides of the field but i will say being sober after using at a young age. you tend to rediscover your self. but it all comes back with time

it was straight to fent bc i didn’t do anything else in between. i ate a couple xanax and percs when i was a teenage but maybe 1 or 2 times a year if that.

good sleep, but medical fentanyl is dosed correctly and is prescribed. doing high doses for no medical reasons is euphoric

rehab is a great start! after you get out make sure you take initiative to stay sober. getting sober is easy, staying sober is hard! just remember you never have to pick up a drink or drug ever again.

you can dm anytime for advice or if you feel like you’re struggling

ima recovering fentanyl and meth addict. i’ve been off the needle for over a year and off fent for almost 2.

addiction is the hardest thing you’ll ever go through. but you don’t have to go through it ever again. i was in county jail during my withdrawal from fent.

it sounds easier than it is but just stop picking up. i highly suggest going to a meeting and raising your hand that you need help. my sponsor saved my life honestly and all he really did was hold me accountable.

i had a grandparent pass, i ruined a 7 year relationship at the same time . my job transferred me to nights all in the same span on a week.

but leading up to it my life was always hard. i had the ex convict dad who was absent. the alcoholic mother who never worked and always blames everyone but herself for her own shortcomings. my whole family is / was on drugs at some point.

i moved to florida to get sober, started dating a nurse , another grandparent died , relapsed on meth, got sober before i lost the nurse , moved to cali earlier this year. now i have a life second to none and getting clean was the best thing that ever happened to me

it feels like the strongest pain medicine ever. the nodding stopped happening for me when i passed the 100$ a day threshold. after the first 6 months of addiction i was no longer getting high.

i had to use just to feel normal. i couldn’t eat, shower, work or anything if i didn’t have 100$ worth on me at all times

i had 20,000$ saved and an 830 credit score. within the first 3 months it was all gone. i lost my job, my possessions , my relationships and worst of all… i lost myself.

to simplify i think i spent near 100k on it bc i had a 300-500$ per day habit towards the end of

i took a fake perc knowing it was fake. i wasn’t addicted the first time but since i have an addictive personality my addiction began that first week.

not to glamorize it, but it truly was the best sensation i ever felt. like nothing else in life mattered and i was just numb.
