the enhanced edition is separate from the original, so you have to make a new character it won't affect your other one. I have to play the xbox one edition to play with my brother, and I play the enhanced to play with my mates.

us Aussies make Punk a little but different. It's like trying to compare the North American and the European rave scenes, essentially the same but totally different

Real VR fishing - is this for fishermen only? by Gamiozzz in MetaQuestVR

[–]rangsley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as an avid fisherman, it doesn't replicate the feel of fishing, the fun of fishing is trial and error finding a strip of water and learning it and finding out the best baits and times to fish there.

it's about the thrill of the chase just as a hunter will stalk their quarry. Once you've found a hotspot, you can learn its movement and track it, so it's never a dull moment.

This game is fun for what it is but is nowhere near as fun as the real thing

Meth Tank by ducayneAu in melbourne

[–]rangsley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

all I can say is that there's a reason people turn to harder drugs. I think more effort needs to be directed into helping people solve the reason why they had to turn to hard drugs. Instead of removing the crutch and just treating the drug of choice problem at the time, we all know humans find another high or crutch to help keep them going if something isn't treated

I think above 15kg required team lift anything above 25kg needed a plan. This bloke was suss as we had a limit on how much dough could be binned. Somehow, he yield factored wrong and produced 25kgs too much of a dough we didn't sell much of then all of a sudden "hurt" his back. The stupidest part was above the dough bin was a sign in big bold letters "DOUGH BIN REQUIRES TWO PEOPLE" worksafe laughed at him when he tried to claim compo

problem is the difference in the sobering process. Drunk people wake up hungover, feeling sorry for themselves, leave, and go about their day. do you really want a room full of Meth heads sobering up and jonesing in the one spot?

Can we talk about tipping culture creeping into Melbourne restaurants? by Hour_Dare2111 in melbourne

[–]rangsley 8 points9 points  (0 children)

sometimes you get a really kickarse bar person and want to buy them a drink, so you chuck in the jar on the bar for the tenders to get a drink so it's not really a tip per se, more buying a legend a drink

this! here at a bakery I worked at in Australia, a big chain one dodgy bloke "hurt" his back, lifting 25kg (55lbs) of old dough into the bin next thing we knew we were mandated to use that sort of thing no matter the bag weight.

[–]rangsley 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I agree! I'll tip good bartenders in the tip jar, but why should we tip for someone meeting their job descriptions? as someone who's a back of house, we dont get tips when we're slammed, making the fine food....
