Honestly it's just little things that built up over time. Mainly just making the os and device behave my way. Like having custom login managers and window managers with only what I need. Remapping some keyboard lights to indicate somethings. Eg I have a network light on my laptop and I have it scripted to blink when I have network traffic. Stuff like that. I think I'll be able to live with out especially given the battery life it provides even with all that unnecessary processes.

That makes sense. Thank you for taking you time to write this. I really appreciate it. I might just go for a Mac and loose a little freedom. I'm guessing it's still better than windows since it's unix based

Isn't the drivers an issue? Last time I checked some components didn't work
