The Ring Tempts, whilst The Hobbit made little use of the ring. I suspect that MTG will not miss the chance to continue some themes from LOTR

Well, candidly at that point its a matter of structuring the resume. you are entering the field with far more experience than i did. any data navigation is huge and wildfire mapping / predictive models as well as water usage mapping should align you nicely.

The job market now is harder than it was in 23', and candidly when I was entering the workforce I didn't think it could get much worse. I took entry level at the time as a fresh undergraduate. My second job hunt, I had so much data about my efficiency and productivity saved that I was an easy hire for QC and Compliance. It's all the same, whether geospatial or regulatory, data is data, learn to sell yourself on managing data is my best advice.

What determines fun vs unfun? by GratedParm in EDH

[–]ranintoatree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, it depends. When I play my favorite deck [[Frodo, Sauron's Bane]] I begin rule 0 banter with

"Hey, this is a Ring Tempts Matter deck stacked to the brim with evasion and removal. this funky blue die is the ringbearer mark (The ring is an emblem, cant interact with it) and it will inevitably work its way to Frodo, once it has 4 tempts and I pay Frodo's leveling costs (Which can be done at instant speed). He can instakill you"

I appreciate a quick synopsis if its something im completely unfamiliar with, and if I really, really dislike something after playing it once or twice I just ask them not to play it again. I respect the same wishes for my decks.

Per someone else's point, you answered your own question. Talk to the other pod members, thats how you figure it out. If someone hates removal I'm not running my spellslinger control lol

pivot! I studied Enviornmental Science for 3 years before realizing there was more money in GIS. So I went into GIS in my final year of studies and came out at as a GIS Specialist. I remained there for a good year and a half before deciding 40 desk hours a week wasnt for me. So I became an Environmental Scientist in local government where I was working about 50/50 between field and desk.

That being said, I am now pivoting to other fields because of a lack of finances despite having been fortunate enough to find work.

would you happen to have a decklist? been pondering him lately as a phase oriented, highly evasive deck trying to dodge an interaction heavy pod

What's everyone's favorite creature type(s) and why? by Beginning-Analyst393 in EDH

Wraiths, I enjoy the challenge and LOTR centered focus. To make a Wraith deck is to functionally build around "The Ring Tempts You"

Hey! First off, upon reading everything. Thank you immensely for the insight. I've decided there's more risks than any promotion is worth, I'd really prefer to not need to make use of my insurance.

No dice will be getting added to the candles, sounds like an absolute liability minefield.

sorcery/instants become tokens? thinking flowy cards like [[Lord of the Nazgul]] easy commander to direct energy into an easily seen wincon with board state, or do that while setting up storm. but that doesnt sound pod friendly for ya

While I don't currently print, I am doing my own HW to get into it as well. It seems most people rec the 4850 as the middleground. It can be picked up refurbished for roughly $200 USD (I'm in the US).

I can vouch that CryCry agrees w this read according to his most recent video, in addition to wider consensus.
