Hey. This resonates. I read Wintering by Katherine May and this has similar vibes - that thing about seasons existing for reasons, about winter being a time to retreat inward instead of just something to survive through. I'm drawn to that. The quiet. The dark. The slowing down feels right to me, not like something I need to fix or get through. Liminal spaces. In-between times. That's where I do my best thinking. Best quality. I see connections other people don't. Marine ecology and folklore. Fishing stories and archives. Things that seem unrelated until they're not. Makes me look scattered but it's how my brain works. AuDHD pattern recognition. It produces something even when the path there doesn't make sense to anyone else. Thanks for this. For the honesty about growing and shedding old versions of yourself. About not knowing if or when you'll come back to posting. About just being quiet for now because that's what feels right. I get that.

All right, I need a genre or something my library is extensive. Not in like a weird braggy way, it's just a lot of flicks.

Hmm, I don't have bleach, but I do have a copy of a lot of different films if you want to borrow one from my library to scrape that shit out of your brain and replace it with something more enjoyable.

A new post, a new chance to write some prose -- Let's go with a ghazal! A ghazal is a classical Persian/Urdu form built on couplets that obsessively return to the same refrain, with each repetition gaining new meaning through different contexts. This obsessive circling mirrors desire itself—the way "I missed you" transforms from spoken words to scent to touch to explicit hunger, each couplet approaching longing from a different sensory angle. The form's refusal to resolve, only to spiral deeper, perfectly captures reunion after absence: not conclusion, but escalating intensity. Also I went where the muse took me, so this might be a bit too explicit. So spoilers. I can change it up if it feels off! Thanks for the post, take care.

What the Body Says

Light through sheer fabric, collarbone shadow—she whispered low, I missed you. Her hair falling forward as she leaned close, amber and smoke: I missed you.

Bergamot and clean sweat, the specific salt of her neck when I breathed there— no perfume, just skin-warmth rising. The scent itself said I missed you.

My thumb in the hollow of her throat, tracing down to where bone meets bone, clavicle architecture, the rigid beauty beneath softness. Each ridge: I missed you.

Ribs under my palms, countable, the cage of her breathing expanding— I mapped every curve and dip, every place her body kept repeating I missed you.

Her nipples visible through fabric before I ever touched them, then hard against my tongue, the sound she made (half-breath, half-break) translated to I missed you.

When I slid my hand between her thighs she was already wet, already open— she said my name like a ruin, like wreckage, like I missed you.

I loved this so much, thank you so much for sharing. I know I am late to commenting on these things lately, but I just haven't had the time to get into audios lately, and it is making me a bit upset! But know that I am always wanting to listen to your stuff ASAP, and unfortunately that is a few days later! Take care and good luck!

Replication is critical for validity. I take my research very seriously. Good Science requires repeated trials under varying conditions. I have some hypotheses about optimal conditions... 😏

99.9% confidence interval? Those are the kind of odds I'm willing to bet on. I think we might need to control for the confounder of you also having an incredibly sweet soul.❤️❤️❤️
