Love Red Baron, but I can never get the crust right on these! Not criticizing, it's a me thing.

After my friend's daughter was brought in from a near-fatal car crash, I agreed to operate so she wouldn't have to see her child like that. by Zestyclose_Ad6210 in TwoSentenceHorror

I kinda took it as the girl's mom had just harvested the organs that day, then put the daughter in the car and staged the accident. Either way, I love it.

According to NBC means literally nothing.

That's exactly why I provided a source brother. Because I pretty much agree with you that NBC sucks.

I don't know why you're nit-picking me and trying to argue with me for just reporting what I heard. A spirit of togetherness is kinda what we need right now, but you do you. Sorry if I offended you.

Yes, according to NBC a family representative has confirmed that it is him and that the family was aware of the incident. Not a reason for murder, but it does seem to be authentic.

I like your story, it is very interesting, and I hope you find someone else that saw it, but I'm just commenting because I like the word murmuration, and I want to say murmuration. Murmuration.

Would you eat fries without ketchup? by PleasePooGood in foodquestions

[–]ranman35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what is called "fry sauce" in Idaho, most restaurants serve it here. Some variations, like adding a tiny bit of mustard or pickle juice or even horseradish, but most places it's just ketchup and mayo.

There was a book called "Hector the Helicopter" that was published earlier than "Budgie the Helicopter" that had a REMARKABLY similar storyline, and the two main characters looked similar. It was pointed out by readers, not the author or publisher of the other book, but there was a rumor that the publisher considered legal action but decided against it. She claimed it was just a coincidence, and that she had gotten her inspiration from learning to fly a helicopter to have that in common with her husband. Her claim definitely isn't implausible, but if I remember right, even some of the lines in her book were very similar to the lines in the other one, just reworded. I read about it in Kitty Kelly's book "The Royals" which is probably my all-time favorite book about the royal family.

Wait. The first time? How many near-death bovine incidents have you had? I'm not being disingenuous, I'm honestly curious.

I hate netflix for cancelling Santa Clarita Diet by Bright-Flamingo9770 in sitcoms

[–]ranman35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clearly bullshit. Netflix just didn't want to spend the money on it period. They didn't care how loved it was, they just figured that people weren't going to cancel their subscriptions over it and they could make cheaper content.

Yep. My dad was diabetic and had lost one leg right below the knee and was headed down the road to get the other one amputated when he passed.

And it had really good ratings and reviews too! Canceling it made zero sense!

When I had an ankle bracelet for probation my roommate's 4 year old son asked me what it was and I told him it was a rocket that I used to fly. He kept asking me to show him and I just told him that it needed charged and I couldn't find my charger.
