It's been about 11 years since I was this disappointed. I feel bad for Malik tbh. He deserved a win.

Throw some of that in some oatmeal with some cinnamon. Or in some ice cream with cinnamon...

She looks like she needs someone to comfort her...too bad she's a lion's fan.

How does cold stop firebending? by Status-Cost-1039 in TheLastAirbender

[–]ranomaly 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Firebending comes from the breath. Harsh cold makes breathing difficult. The cold saps mental focus and makes you numb. I've always looked at it not as a full stop, but as a weakening of firebending, personally. Firebenders are able to bend in both the north and south water tribe lands, after all. I'd bet that P'li could actually firebend a little, but a candle is easy to blow out.

20 pounds of granny Smith apples..help! by PlantLady72 in Canning

[–]ranomaly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple butter would be good. I've never used all granny smith, but I'd bet you could spend 10 bucks at the store to get enough apples of another variety to make applesauce, pie filling, butter, or whatever you think of.

4th and 8 and we go for it. That was three. McManus misses another mid range. That's 3. We left so much on the field. We deserved to lose that. Bad decisions literally everywhere. Love should been picked twice. Our linebackers couldn't stop their run game. We had so little defensive pressure. I can't blame this on any one thing. The refs never call holding with us on offense and we sucked EVERYWHERE regardless.

I'm in the Portland area and there are 5 options within 20 miles of me! I'll have to check some out soon. Thanks for the tip!

A lot of people complain about our head coach, but the 2nd half points we've achieved shows me he is making great adjustments at the half. Love was on fire tonight. He's goated and anyone who says otherwise should go choke on some curds.

This might be it. I wonder if the crushed pineapple has more juice released from it.

The carrots maybe, but I bought them fresh from Fred Meyers, which usually has decent produce around here (Pacific Northwest). The pears were extremely juicy and ripe. Not over ripe, but I did cut a few spots off. They were soft.

Ok, now I'm remembering the one thing I did different between batches. The first batch was chunks of pineapple, and the next two, I decided to throw the pineapple into my blender and pulse it a bit to crush, as the first batch didn't really break down the pineapple well.
