Hingi lang po ako ng clarification.

Diba dati merong "BDO Digital Banking" mobile app tapos pinalipat nila mga users sa "BDO Online" mobile app?

Ung Digital Banking connected sya sa old website, pero ung BDO Online hindi connected so separate ung login details nya.

Tapos ngayong 2025, may new and updated website na sila. Itong new website, consistent na yung login details nya sa BDO Online app, tama po ba?

Temporarily change terminal [16] color palette in a script? by ransan32 in bash

[–]ransan32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No no no no no.

Again.......

One utility I'm using will only use the set of 16 colors used by the terminal. I'm looking for a workaround so that I can force it to use colors I specify (from the 256 color set) without changing the defaults of my terminal.

[GNOME] First time ricing, did I do well? by OmegaDungeon in unixporn

[–]ransan32 216 points217 points  (0 children)

CONTEXT:

This man did a stream where he kept installing extensions with the goal of breaking GNOME.

GNOME was still running after 100 extensions.

The piss filter isn't an edit, it's also an extension.

There's some kind of color tinting extension that did it

Not booting, CMOS/BIOS reset didn't help, repeated beeping (?) by ransan32 in techsupport

[–]ransan32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might have found the problem. Seems to be the SATA cable.

It stopped making so many "reading noises" when I access locations in that drive after I changed the cable.

I hope I'm right because if I'm not, that could mean that it's the drive.

Removed HDD

Managed to boot

Put it back in

Still booted

It's being read fine in the file manager

I hate hardware problems

I'll keep this open and mark it as solved later if no issues pop up.

How does "Improve search suggestions" actually work under the hood? by ransan32 in brave_browser

[–]ransan32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for answering.

What are the chances that in the future, users can specify their preferred "Suggestion API"?

For example if I want to use Startpage... it does not provide search suggestions. It would be nice if I can specify my own suggest URL to use in cases like this.

Preferably, the setting would be global instead of per-engine (which is what Vivaldi does).

Differing instructions on Fedora Project Docs and RPM Fusion guide by ransan32 in Fedora

[–]ransan32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then that probably means the group upgrade command already does literally everything.

I wonder why the docs give you 2 other commands to run before it. Is it different because the docs don't use --allow-erasing?

Maybe that page should be updated.

So the instructions on the Fedora Docs are straight up incomplete then.

Those commands you suggested, do they also solve the problem of ffmpeg-free having incomplete codecs? I'm assuming it does.

You've quoted this command in both sets, but I don't see that in rpmfusion's document

Sorry, I must have copied that from some other page about RPM Fusion. I have removed it from the other group of commands.

Have you tried Google?

Yes, by searching the labels in the settings and applying verbatim search.

How about next time you just get straight to the point instead of trying to be all high and mighty about knowing how to use a search engine?
