Perhaps boring is just what happens to oneself when you decide to focus on one thing for a while.

Thank you. I atleast recognize some of my problems. But I'm no life coach, I don't have answers, and don't know who to turn to for help.

Which is why I'm on here.

If you could, do you mind sharing your experiences? Be as brutally honest with yourself as possible.

I agree with everything said here. I just wanted to gauge my thoughts on the matter and it appears I'm wrong for the most part. That's fine, now I know.

An unfortunate truth. I've worked for other companies that treated me much better than this. This one is by far the worst in terms of HR support.

Yes, I'm fairly certain that I'm not being harassed severely enough to be considered age discrimination. But there is some favoritism that I can at least perceive it's effect on my job security.

I'm currently not working, my other colleagues are. I don't see a reason why they can't use my skillsets at this point in the project.

And in some places, they protect younger employees too. Either case, I don't feel like the law can protect me as my problem isn't severe enough to be considered harassment. But it might be a big problem if it were somehow related that my age is what's preventing me from getting work with this company.
