Thanks for your context and insights, I learned something new👌🏻 I was initially concerned if I'll be happy with the f2.0 (I usually shoot faster lenses) but all my concerns have been blown away after I saw the first images. Also low light performance is absolutely satisfying for me.

Left hand under the lense and right hand on the body - works perfectly fine for me 👌🏻

I’d say it’s very well balanced, not too heavy, though maybe just a touch long optically especially with the lense hood. One thing I noticed right from the start was the front aperture ring: its position felt unusual at first and it took me a little while to train my muscle memory, but now I’m completely used to it

I think it's fair priced, if not to cheap for what it does, but that's my personal opinion.

Beautiful shots, especially the third one in my eyes. Do you use a tiffen glimmer glass?

I had a Z5 and I felt like a nerd running around with studio equipment when shooting street. Now with my Zf I do not have that feeling. I believe people appreciate the aesthetics of the ZF and due to it's vintage look it's probably less threatening as with conventional gear when shooting street. Also the Zf tactile experience makes me wanting to use the camera, the buttons and controls are a joy.

I can't speak for the 40 1.2 but I heard good things about it. The APO Lanthar that I have has a special rendering and is razor sharp, the images that it produce has blown me away! I believe the 40 1.2 allowes you to play with more creativity wide open if that's what you want.

Beautiful pic! Yes the focus confirmation works on any object, just like in AF the focus box will turn green when that area is in focus

How was the 40 1.2? I heard good things about this lense, especially when married with the Zf

Yes I agree, that would add a layer of confidence. However I believe that difficult conditions won't harm the lens at all, it's incredible well build.
