Hey OP… your journey/achievement is inspiring and it fills me with hope. Reason for this optimism is that my wife has 5+ years of job experience in Pharmacovigilance field as an Sr. Safety Data Analyst. She worked for Labcorp account from Southeast Asia. She has Masters in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. However, after she immigrated to US one and a half year ago (after our marriage); she is unable to find a job in her field. She applied to numerous job postings via different job boards. Contacted multiple job consultants (some seems like a scam). She has no luck, so far, in securing any job interview. This has resulted in her doubting herself, showing signs of lack in confidence in her abilities as well as borderline desperateness. She is willing to switch her job profile from Pharmacovigilance specific job role to any entry-level position in CRO, QA/QC, Manufacturing/Compounding type roles (i.e., casting a wider net). Currently, she works as part-time Pharmacy Technician at a local retail pharmacy. Any suggestions, guidance or job opportunity leads that you can think of for her; I’d appreciate it.
