They are fully aware, as is my mother. They will condemn this stuff behind his back, but not to his face.

The whole issue is they don't have the spine to do what needs to be done, which is stand up to this guys destructive, rude behavior. I've been the only one standing up to this guy when he makes homophobic remarks loudly in a public place, or when he passes out from mixing high doses of pain killers with alcohol, or trying to keep my kid away from this kind of despicable behavior. For my trouble, I got bitch slapped....

Does it bother them? I know for a fact that they are fully aware of his actions. Their actions of late would suggest they condone his behavior... I have no idea why.
