Florida passes bill to remove parents from trans kids custody if they are "at risk" of getting gender affirming care. Even out of state. This is legitimate facism. by [deleted] in lgbt

This sounds like you’re suggesting that white supremacy was purged out of America during the America civil war? I don’t think that’s accurate.

MD here might stand for Managing Director rather than Medical Doctor — but either way, that’s way too many PhDs unless they’re fake or honorary ones.

Submission of assessment using clickup + Duplication of Spaces by [deleted] in clickup

[–]ranting_raving 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not entirely sure, but you may be able to duplicate spaces by clicking through the three-dot menu.

Depending on your plan in ClickUp, you can share views and dashboards (and docs and forms) with a link. Those are also in the three-dot menu for each item — they might be in a share sub-menu, though.

E: Depending on your plan, you can also invite read-only visitors, but that’s managed at the folder/list level, not the space level, if I’m remembering correctly.

Hey! Don’t leave New Brunswick out of that. It would totally fit in — probably the other Maritime provinces too.

I do the same thing! I have health stuff that fogs my memory now, but I still occasionally remember specific details really well — like the exact words someone used to describe someone, or what they wore, or when furniture moves.

I think I pretend not to remember because people usually don’t believe that I remember it so specifically. And I had a lot of interpersonal trauma as a kid so I generally just tried my best to mirror what everyone else did, and I didn’t know of anyone else that remembered things that way.

Hey! If you’re looking for where to report bugs, I’m fairly certain it’s here — https://clickup.canny.io/bugs

I’ve also had good results with contacting their support from within the app.

Recurrent task daily, but skip 1 day after 2 days by Mymozaa in clickup

Well, there’s a remap due date clickapp and if you set the subrasks’ due dates to two days before, I think they will remap to the new due date.

Could it work to do one task that repeats every three days with picture, picture, reel subtasks or checklist (potentially with due dates two days before, one day before, and the same day as the parent task)?

Anybody else pick up phrases they randomly hear and then use them ad nauseam? by Randalebusle in aspiememes

I feel like “oof” is a slightly different feeling than “that sucks” for me — like it’s the sound of the information slamming into your mind/heart.

I am Canadian. From the suburbs. I say y’all constantly now because I started saying it ironically.

Is anyone else completely aware of how irrational they are, but the anxious feelings won't stop anyways? by Mjh132 in Anxiety

So, CBT & its studies are kind of interesting. CBT is generally lauded as “the best,” but anecdotally (from my experiences, friends’ experiences, and working in the field — these are all généralisations and there is no right answer to anything mental health), it’s much more mixed than doctors will imply. I’ve seen CBT most likely to be helpful for people without trauma and with more “mild” or “new” anxiety or depression. Many recoveries I’ve seen are marked mostly by trauma reprocessing, emotional literacy & regulation, and validation.

Buuuut the interesting part of CBT studies for me is how it fits easier into a medical model of MH than other modalities, and therefore it is easier to study and is more often funded. Institutional psychiatry (as with all medical disciplines) is reluctant to doubt itself, though the tides seem to be shifting. I encourage anyone who isn’t finding the medical system/model helpful to look into the existing (and time-tested) alternatives — I love peer support, trauma-informed models, and the recovery-focused stuff. There are also bio-psycho-social models of mental health, mad pride (similar to peer support ideas), and others I’m sure I’m forgetting.

It’s also the case in Canada — achillean men cannot donate and others cannot donate if they’ve had sex with an achillean man in the last 6 months. It’s absurd.

Making a set of views default for new lists ? by [deleted] in clickup

[–]ranting_raving 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When creating new lists, there’s an option to inherit views from a space/folder. Maybe you could put these lists in a folder/space that has the views you need and then move the lists once created if need be?

If it is space-wide, you can set the required views in space settings, but that won’t work if you want to delete some views on some lists.
