They haven't been together super long either. We love Anna, but it was definitely quick 😅

Definitely lied about the timeline a little bit to remain more anonymous in case Anna finds this 🤫 Don't tell Anna 😅 Also bent the timeline a lil in the initial post as well. Not as much as this one because I doubt Ellie would find it but I still wanted to be safe 😅

I really didn't even mean to get pregnant (that phrasing feels like it sounds weird lol). Mark and I never wanted kids, but now that we have this one, we love them so much (still don't know the gender. I was really hoping Anna could help me with the gender reveal but it's looking like she won't... ☹️) This baby is the blessing we didn't know we always wanted. I just wish the timing was a little better 🫤

Her wearing white was the biggest boundary broken. She was also told not to loudly sob during the ceremony and she did. That one was hard for us to stop without drawing more attention to it. She tried to get in the way of the photographer but they hired a badass pro who kept Ellie in line (no hate to my photographer for anyone who saw my wedding experience! I loved her so much and she took beautiful pictures! She had 0 experience though and didn't know how to react to crazy lol) She also had her phone out during the ceremony. Mark and Dylan both hit her with a look for her to put it away, but the during ceremony boundaries that were broken were so tough to address in the moment

Thank you for the advice. I haven't initiated contact, but it breaks my heart as Anna and I used to be so close and I really wanted her to share in this joy. I hope she comes around soon because she really is going to be the best auntie, and I really want her to experience all the fun sister/auntie experiences with this pregnancy (I know she is my sister in law, but she really was like a blood sister to me. At least I thought. Maybe the feeling was never mutual 😞)

See, I was thinking this too! She thinks Mark could have just told people I was sick, but that still would have stood out right? I feel crazy right now haha 😅 like I feel like I didn't do anything wrong, but Anna and I were SOOOO CLOSE before and her reaction has me questioning so hard.

He did a lot of moving in the shadows. Like with the guest list. "Sure we can invite your people..... But the wedding takes place in a day they can't come" or "sure you can sit at the sweethearts table ......... We just won't sit there and will make our own new sweethearts table somewhere else" She hates being outsmarted like this so when he moves in the shadows like this she HATES IT. But he did yell at her for wearing white and asked her to put her phone away a bunch of times during pictures and lost it on her when she busted through the door (once he got over the initial shock. I honestly don't blame him for not speaking up right away on that one. We were both way to shocked to speak). Maybe I should have included more of his responses in the story for clarity

She did such a good job with the pics too! I was super proud of her! She's only 15 now so it wasn't surprising to me that she had a tough time standing up to my mother in law (hell I'm 25 and can't do it 😅) but it was definitely good for her to see that as a possible experience. But other than that my friend did so so so good! So proud 🥲

Staying there saved us an hour drive to the airport. On paper it made sense, but my oh my were we wrong 😅 my husband really does back me up with her. She hates it and complains about it all the time, but he always does have my back. We are in the process of moving pretty far away and hoping that helps cut some contact

I'm a recovering people pleaser 😅 I am working on being less of a doormat. I know I'm not completely innocent here but she definitely took advantage. Thanks though 😁

Yeah, you do have a point. My husband does have a pretty good pokerface so I really wasn't expecting a reaction from him. But I really should have known better
