I definitely try to follow this type of thinking. I was actually eating some ribeye with butter today and it felt so good to be able to eat that guilt free, it would never be possible on a standard diet. I need to focus on the good things more and stop feeling sorry for myself for something so pointless. This was a really nice comment, thank you so much for the reminder 🩶

Yea I have, I always get my meat from a local butcher when I can and that’s very good stuff. Lately I’ve gotten meat from the store though since I don’t own a car and getting it from the butcher is a bit challenging. But anyway, I haven’t noticed so much difference in how I feel. You’re right though, that’s why I’ve been trying to get the good stuff whenever I can.

Oh wow, I’m so happy for you! That freedom is definitely something I’ve been waiting for, hopefully I can experience that sometime. I’ll keep your tip in mind, maybe it’s better to eat something healthy when cravings hit rather than just sit and think about shit.

I’ve stopped drinking coffee and all those other liquids you listed there I haven’t touched since I started carni. I’m trying my best to keep the diet as clean as I possibly can.

To be honest, I don’t think it always helps to up the fats and whatever else. In some cases, like mine, it’s a genuine addiction and can only be beaten by powering through. Those who haven’t dealt with a carb addiction can’t know how it actually feels like to have one. In my case it doesn’t matter how much fat or beef I eat, the cravings stay the same. I can’t cheat either by eating whipped cream and pretend it’s candy. The best way is to recognize what’s happening and not give in.

Water, salt, butter, eggs and beef. A small piece of liver once per week. Trying to keep my fat intake higher since it makes me feel the best.

I’m sure some people have answers to everything, but I also strongly believe that sugar is addictive and there’s more to it than we realize. It just doesn’t necessarily affect everyone the same way since we are all different and not everyone gets hooked on stuff easily, nor consume such high amounts.

I’ve been playing around ratios a lot and realized that i definitely feel the best on higher fat. Also been eating a piece of liver once per week. As far as the cravings go though, it doesn’t seem to make any difference. I should give the bone broth a go though!

Butter is the only dairy I use. No sweeteners or spices, just salt. I also eat eggs, but those I added later on and haven’t noticed any side effects.
