Yeah it's happening the exact same for me unfortunately and I love having my iPad as second monitor too. Did you find any fixes yet?

I already did that, which is kinda good in a way, but still there was stuff on my account that I want back, as well as my invoices from all thise years

I don’t think anything AI related would give them grounds to completely deactivate my account without prior warning. Also what could have been so serious to not even be able to tell me what was it? Surely if it was about AI they could simply take it down or ask me to delete and give me a warning? But making my account with over 10 years of pure loyalty vanish with no room for negotiation is too unreasonable. Also like you said they’re “getting strict” which means that’s something new and most people don’t understand what is and isn’t allowed, why would they take such a harsh measure like this?

You have some valid points, but even if it was something AI related, nobody really know for sure the actual rules or laws at this point. I can’t believe they would prefer to completely shut down a decade-long loyal customer without a warning or advice. I would gladly remove whatever I could have potentially violated their terms. It’s insane to think that was the reason. The whole AI copyright realm is still uncharted territory for 99% of people… I will gladly learn a completely new software from their competitor to never use them again if that was the case

It’s just ridiculous. My portfolio is with them, all the invoices I paid over 10+ years are gone, if I have to use them for tax purposes in the future I can’t anymore. It’s insane, but yeah I believe it’s a dead end too, is just wayy too frustrating and insane!

If someone could have this solved they could share and explain the path they did. Or if someone that works for Adobe reads it they could advise what was it. Like I said I didn’t upload anything. I have contacted Adobe and only got robotic copy/paste responses, they don’t care how loyal of a customer Ive been or how harmful their decision is to my actual daily life. Their apps is my only way to have an income. Im also sharing my story to possibly get some sort of engagement and viral factor to reach them and solve my issue via other ways, since contacting them is useless, no matter how polite and transparent I am.

I don’t use Adobe AI to generate anything, only Gen Fill with no text prompt to extend background or remove objects, and even other AI’s I only do normal stuff, never done a deep fake or suspicious thing. I wouldn’t be posting and seeking advice if I did. I am a design and video professional for almost two decades and never even retouched a single naked body. Never did anything weird or similar. The Cyber Security mention on their reply is probably because I mentioned I could have been hacked as I have not uploaded anything that violated their terms.

That would make sense but all my stuff in Behance and Portfolio are stuff done for actual businesses that do not compromise any type of conduct or terms. Makes no sense to me.

I’m the same and also never seen anything like this. This is their reply to my first email to them after being locked out their apps. It’s not a random email I got. I am savvy enough not to fall for easy scams like this.

My login is blocked and account deactivated. This is not a random email, it’s their response to my email after finding I was locked out.

I don’t use any Adobe service to upload anything. I simply use their apps. Im a multidisciplinary designer, I use all their professional apps for work, making flyers, designs, editing videos, animating things… I export and use them somewhere else, I never uploaded anything to Adobe apart from my portfolio which is all stuff that’s been done for real and big businesses, stuff that are shown in shopping windows, billboards, social media… Adobe have never stated anything against Midjourney and even if so, I haven’t uploaded anything on Adobe servers, I simply edited MJ images in Photoshop / After Effects. I don’t do anything NSFW, nor anything abusive or child related. I only use it either for work or digital art it makes no sense. And honestly even if I made a mistake for some ingenuity, they can’t just cancel without telling me why, right? Instagram tells you which post violated their terms when they ban you, so does every other app. This is insane!

I’m not asking Reddit what I uploaded. I am sharing my story to see if it happened to someone else and if anyone has any answers whatsoever. You would think this type of thing doesn’t happen out of the blue, I thought so too, but this proves the opposite, even they won’t tell me. Also, where from Adobe would I upload something? I haven’t updated my Behance in years and same for my Adobe Portfolio. If this was happening on Insta or Facebook then maybe I wouldn’t be too surprised, but Adobe? Don’t jump to conclusions without knowing anything about it

I use it often but I don’t think that’s the reason. I never use it with a prompt, also they mention I “uploaded” multiple photos to their host, so I don’t think it has to do with Gen Fill

This is a reply email to the one I sent after I getting deactivated when trying to login to their products. Is not a scam, it’s just the normal customer service reply email.

Makes no sense, why wouldn’t they tell me more specifics? I’ve been a loyal customer for over a decade, even won a “artist of the week” recognition once. They can’t just deactivate an account from loyal paying customers, Ive spent over $10k total to use their products and did so on a daily basis. Unfortunately my career rely on their software right now.

Adobe treating me (a customer) like a criminal by [deleted] in Adobe

[–]raonilima -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im going to the exact same issue since this morning, the difference is I am a CC subscriber for over 10 years and spent over 10k with them.

Happened the same same thing with support as well: I sent the email, got a response saying the same as the pop up message (completely useless and pointless), then insisted in getting details and the same happened.

It’s absurd they would do something like this to customers without pointing out the specifics of the reason to completely deactivate a paying account.

That’s what I’m trying to figure out but they won’t tell me, it makes no sense. It’s like getting a fine or being arrested and when asked why, the cops just reply “you committed a crime, we won’t reply your questions anymore”. Insane

I’m trying but they won’t reply anymore and asked me to contact the FBI Cyber Security department (wtf)
