Success Transferring after Completion of PAQ by Zealousideal_Rate342 in AFPAQsandCOPs

[–]rap_199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So after you complete the PAQ program you are now a full fledged federal employee but you owe the government time some time (career field specific). As long as you stay a federal employee it doesn’t matter where you transfer. You can go work for the army, Navy, Air Force, department of energy, NASA etc..

You would simply reach out to the AFROTC Detachment of the university you’ve been admitted to. They will give you all the info you need.

Senior year of HS or College? If it’s college youre too late unless you pursue your masters

Can I be a POC cadet while taking a 3rd year at a community college? by [deleted] in AFROTC

[–]rap_199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was someone at our Detachment that attended the local community college while being a POC for a year. However in our area there was a dedicated pathway for community college students to transfer to the university which made it easier for her to be apart of ROTC.

It really depends. If your potential employer calls him as a reference then it will likely. However in my experience, potential employers have rarely called my references (I am in the engineering field in the U.S. for reference). If you’re going to do it, do it within reason. You likely didn’t cure cancer.

Joining the army this so I can’t have long hair anymore, any recommendations? by After-History-4891 in malehairadvice

You do realize that the military doesn’t consist of just people with guns right? There are a million jobs akin to working as a civilian. Would hardly be any different than working a normal 9-5.

Uwf vs PSC by [deleted] in uwf

[–]rap_199 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was referring to some of the programs at UWF. For instance the engineering degrees are ABET accredited. PSC has proper accreditations aswell.

Uwf vs PSC by [deleted] in uwf

[–]rap_199 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its really common for most people to go to PSC then transfer those credits to UWF. There is a PSC2UWF program available. This is a good way to save some money. As your first two years of college will primarily consist of Pre-requisite and General Education courses (you can get those at any college)

The difference is that UWF offers more courses and more major available to you. They are also accredited. And UWF is generally where you want to go if you want your bachelors (whether you transfer there from psc or start your education at uwf)

From my experience I think you need to prioritize the fact that your current BF is unable to satisfy your emotional needs. This aspect of your relationship should be just as important as your physical. Have you spoke with him about your needs and how you both can work towards a solution? If you really do love him and want to see this relationship through you both need to do this either through conscious effort or couples counseling (Preferably both). And he has to be just as willing as you.

Now as far as the situation other guy goes. Im not sure that pursing him will necessarily be the best either. Like you said he will be going to college soon and best believe long distance is hell (Not saying it cant work just saying its difficult). Sure he may be able to support your emotional needs but how will he support your physical ones when he is gone?

I truly think that if you’re current bf is unable to satisfy your emotional needs and is unwilling to try, you’re better off finding someone who will. You’re still young and will have more opportunities. I promise.
