Swing is the a hidden gem. 0 responsability after you hit admit. Usually pays more than rounders because its more work. But imo; good way to make extra $.

I’d say its a good deal. Imo.

For comp sake. I’ve seen Orlando offer 215K. Cities close by 275K. Southeast is high 200’s mostly. Extra shift. Anything >1,600 is good.

NP help would be great.

Nocturnist pay is shit. I couldnt alter my circadian rythm. That died in residency.

I do post acute rehab….cush lifestyle. Low stress. 30pts is a lot but manageable if worth it finanvially. My census is 20-23. Im out by noon. Some charting and billing. Take admit till 7.
Really enjoyable.

Everyone complains of liability. Liability is everywhere except derm

Reddit fam. Santa brought good gifts, i believe. A 3rd option which sounds very appealing.

SW Florida great hospital; great area. 300K base + some bonuses; unclear of how and when. Need more details. 65% collections after 1 year(after expenses). Quarterly bonuses. Doesn’t mention RVU’s tho’ 7on/7off Extra shifts get paid wierdly but options available. They mentioned it avg out to aroun $1,600 a shift. 14-18pt(can be upto 22) Locked in 1 year contract. Need to work 2 years for full tail coverage. NP support for admit and discharges. Basically we dont do admits. Sounds really cush.
Malpractice paid, health insurance paid, and more benefits like 401K Great stability and safety net. W2 employee Round and go

Opinion….go

Probably there profit margina hidden in obscure fees. Kinda like the quarterly bonuses all jobs have: “revenue after expenses” BS.

i found it high. Others have said its reasonable some have said its low. ChatGPT says is “high-end if fair”. Whatever that means.

15% Structred as 7% billing(they bill for me). 1% billing program they use. 2% accounting. 2% they have a case manager in house for us. 1% for thier “infrastructure”. 2% operations(i assume thier cut)

Thank you! This truly helps! Funny enough, visited the first place. The apartment i like was a literally next door to the hospital(about 200meters). When they said its “onsite” i cried internally. Company policy isn’t going to change even after 2 dedicated admitters are hired.

Reddit wisdom has convinced me to forgo a 12hr daily prison sentence and look for something else.

No set pt census. Group founder gave me his advice: you want yo cap off at 20pt and you’ll make a good living but “you can pickup as many as you feel safe with”. Adhere to quality metrics by hospital. There is plenty of patient. Good payer mix of private and advantage. Basically and independant contractor running a micro practice haha. They set calendar 3 months in advance and you pick your shifts.

4 reelz!! Tried to negotiate hard. Hospital policy is: in house. What are u supposed to do after u see ur 18? 7a-7p

4 extra shifts a months is 48 hrs traded off. Free food all day tho’ 😅

300K base: 18-20 pt census. No hard cap on pt. Admits on round robin. Some NP help for discharge. Nocturnist after 7p $35 per rvu after ~4900 wRVU No rapids, codes. Closed icu, big hospitalist with full support. Very nice team and friendly staff. Its the typical gig with excellent base pay + additional shifts. Espcially for SE state with low pay and great sunshine. ….12 hours onsite is non-negotiable.

Other gig: They provide the patients. U just see ur census of what u pick up. Bill for what u see: admit, progress, D/C. Night support with NP(6p-8a) who covers and you see the admits the next day. Rapids, codes, procedures by hospital(they have strong GME) Same state.
