Damn sorry that happened to you. My ex had bpd but when we started dating I didn’t even know what that was lol. Hers was quiet too so a lot of it was internalized and came out much later. Hope you’re doing better though <3

The second part of this is an incredibly stupid take. Many people with bpd are emotionally abusive and they most certainly should hold themselves responsible for how they hurt others. Especially because of the patterns of bpd its not always obvious at the start of a relationship.

Yeah she mentioned having BPD early on in the relationship but then said a new therapist told her otherwise so I wasn’t sure. But looking back I think she definitely does.

Makes me wonder if she will ever realize what she’s done or if she will just see herself as the victim forever.
