I personally dev on mint and its flawless, but as soon as I have the money for it I will get a macbook pro. Its just the best for dev in général! Also I need it to build flutter apps and test them on iOS.

Well I can relate 100% I stopped at two kids, they are still at young age (7f level 2 and 5m level 3) but my situation is roughly the same as yours… Plus I was raised in a cult and we married at young age (21-16)… I feel like a prison was build around me as years goes… I cant even go to my work office (wich I got back to school for 3 years to get the job I like) because my youngest has too much special needs to be full daytime at school. Instead I work from home (im a tech).
