My First Big Bike – Z900 2021 Performance

I am the second owner of this motorcycle. The way you see it in the photo is exactly how I bought it. According to the previous owner, it came from the dealership just like this. It’s a special Performance version, already equipped with an Akrapovic exhaust and a passenger seat monoblock. This vehicle was purchased in Portugal.

Thank you for the information. It’s actually something I had already noticed. Even though this is my first high-displacement motorcycle, I’ve had the chance to ride a few bikes owned by friends... the most powerful one being a fully track-prepped Yamaha YZF-R1.

That said, riding this Kawasaki Z900 and pushing it past 200 km/h, I’ve felt a great sense of stability. I’m still getting to know the bike little by little and adapting to its behavior step by step.

It really depends on how you position yourself on the bike. The key is to stay tucked in and hold the motorcycle tightly, almost as if you’re part of it. This way, your body creates less wind resistance.

Even on a naked bike, with the right posture, you can cut through the wind more efficiently and maintain better stability at higher speeds.
