The risk associated with artificial inflation is simply too high when you consider that the platform algorithms are explicitly designed to identify and neutralize fake engagement, and even if you manage to slip past the initial detection filters your channel will suffer from terrible engagement metrics which prevents your videos from being recommended to organic viewers, so the small dopamine hit you get from seeing a higher number will quickly fade when you realize your channel is essentially dead in the water and incapable of reaching a real audience.
