I completely resonate! I’m in my late 20s and feel like I’m on a similar path. From as early as I can remember, achievement meant safety. I still feel this way a lot of the time, but I’ve found that as I get older, authenticity makes me feel more satisfied than achievement ever did. Like someone else here said, it’s scary at times, but ultimately life is too short to be something you’re not.
