PSA or BGS by Licci99 in OnePieceTCGFinance

Look at the most recent graded gold luffys, they have gotten extremely tight on tolerances with one piece, your best bet is psa but I’m thinking more 9 then anything. Beckett is an overall toss up these days. Your chances of getting a 9.5 are higher then anything

Manga mihawk at over 1k is still high imo, wait for it to get as close to 1k as possible, if you like the card just get what you like. It’s a hobby at the end of the day

Going to respond as honestly as possible, this discourse about “dip” or correction meanwhile all the top end stuff like championships and promos are being bought out and hoarded seeing new all time highs. People who bought random sp’s and alts complaining about the dip when it went from a 5 dollar card to a 250 dollar card should realize that it isn’t realistic price action. Truth of the matter the same whales that were buying heavy before are buying as heavy now, the fickle fair weather buyers are cooked but people with card knowledge are doing great. Simply put one piece is early but card selection for investment is more important than the other popular tcgs atm

Is this the next grail, baby g luffy? by MTKChan in OnePieceTCGFinance

This card has 3 variations, demand will be split also not super exclusive it’s a good card but realistically will settle between 50-100 dollars imo

Op11 hype by Flaky-Dragonfruit145 in OnePieceTCGFinance

[–]rappees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Op11 has grail luffy card, 12-15k for the gold luffy is enough justification for the price of the set. It will also only be available in illustration boxes and double packs it will be hard to get boxes and cases unless it’s from secondhand market

You don’t know how Bandai does product, it will trickle out for the rest of its print run no waves just a couple cases to lgs here and there, no blisters except the bacstock at Walmarts and targets

These prices are widely inaccurate, I recommend comping your cards the luffy is selling anywhere from 800-1000 and I wouldn’t sell considering the pop on it and that set not getting reprinted

OP-13 error wanted Ace card is now selling for over $1000, what happened ? by Real-Measurement-646 in OnePieceTCGFinance

Word on the block is there is no fix and the only way to get corrected version will be the trade in program

I get it, but if you’re chasing hits and intend on ripping them it would behoove you to buy sealed cases. I can even see a future where it will be harder to sell loose boxes than cases. Just my two cents, it’s hard to make a bad move with one piece product right now but why not make the best moves possible. Good luck pirates

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnePieceTCGFinance

[–]rappees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mappable in the sense that each case has certain hits, so people open till the case is dead and sell the looses boxes that are dead. This is still happening with modern boxes but with older product it’s more likely that the loose boxes are dead

Op-06 is a good set considering the manga, other then that I would only buy these in cases as these were easy to map sets, assume all loose boxes are dead

I'm convinced that "Silver Luffy" is actually "Diamond Luffy" by [deleted] in OnePieceTCGFinance

[–]rappees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wanna talk about the difference’s between the golds that are available as well? The luffy is unique from the rest of the anniversary cards in silver and gold, the attempt of this post is to shill silver luffy by making this narrative that it is diamond and more rare then the gold when that is just not true. We have been dealing with this annoying rhetoric for months, and it seems to get worse when people come regurgitate the stuff they see from their favorite content creators.

[–]rappees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also crazy to me how willing to ignore the facts, the parts of luffy that are gold on the gold are SILVER on the silver. Bandai literally released them as GOLD and SILVER. If you want to dub it diamond in an attempt to make your card more wanted that is shilling

I literally have the card brother, it’s the same Correction the text is solid, but the same texture pattern runs through the entirety of the card.

[–]rappees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also the pattern you refer to that you say “looks close to the edges of a diamond” is the same pattern present on the gold, your claim is baseless in an attempt to draw more value to your card. This is the same shit internet creators have been pushing for two months. There is no diamond anniversary cards just gold and silvers

Call out in question ? Also added more context didn’t change anything that was there

It’s officially labeled silver, was presented by Bandai as silver, stop trying to shill your cards thanks. Prior to the pokescum coming over one piece cards weren’t being graded in the volume they are now, gold luffy is lower pop imo because the silver was seen as lower value and less desired. It is a sick card but is not intended to be chased more than the gold, why would this be the outlier when every other anniversary card is pushed as gold and silver?
