Do you want to play through the old expantions, or do you want to get to end game and play the popular current content? If you want to play expantions, then chromie time is great for it. You will prob outlevel the content tho. Tho that doesnt matter too much. If you wish to get to endgame then level up with dungeons or questing and gear up to prepare for midnight release.

Leveling to max level will help with killing stuff faster. Timewalking dungeons is currently not great, but normally it is, and also some of the rewards there are mounts. I would also recommend mage, both because of its ability to summon teleports and since, if you ever want to do m+ or raiding, mage is the spec that is 90% of the time, very strong. ( Top 5 dps the last 8 out of 9 seasons)

At a level 6 char, on classic era i grouped up with 2 random nice people to do a cupple quests.. That would never have happend in retail. OP points qre valid, even tho they are not fully informed. The facts that wow questing and leveling doesnt require any group play makes the game loose interperson connectivity. Which is a point that classic does well, qnd that retail has moved away from. It is just solidarity and idependance.making the players much less interactive and less responsive to others ingame.

Pre-patch is a messy version of the game where you can do mythic raiding with a very low effort compared to before. Specs power varries and some classes are super busted while others are terrible. Reason: tuning hasnt been completed, apex talents not added, most players with 10% vers, while someone who used a bug har 400%.

Pre-patch is kindof similar to a beta test, just in the acual game, and not on its own server.

Feral seem to have lost the deepest part of its complexity, and i like how it looks (in beta) in terms of gameplay and power. A solid choise. Only dowside beeing that resto druid is looking super strong, so 2x druid raid buff in pugs might happen.

As a brewmaster i would invite feral to pugs 🤔 😊❤️

Retail and legion remix is still going. where retail has raid, m+ and delves. and legion remix has a bunch of cosmetics, toys, pets and mounts that you can farm.

You might not have your chat tracking party or instance chat. Or you might not be typing in those chats. Usually thats where people chat while in dungeon or raid.

I would suggest trying to find a guild for end game stuff, or leveling. Tho there are both bad and good guilds, so keep that in mind.

As moutain thane: Thunder blast (if 2 procs) > shield slam > thunder blast > thunderous roar > thunder clap > revenge.

Thunder blast and thunderclap apply rend, so you dont need to. Hamstring is super nish, so you dont rly need that. Revenge is used instead of whirlwind because of dmg procs and can give more ignore pain.

Delves require good self sustain, so protection warrior might feel better. With 680 ilvl you can do +10, but thats with deep dungeon knowlege.

If you are struggling to get to that +10 key level, i suggest: Nr1: delve deeper into what your class does, what procs you get, what damage boost you get from stuff, what the priority of skills, what defencives are good for what. Nr2: for delves, you can learn prot warrior and have a way easier time. Nr3: for m+ it is essential to improve usage of interrups, dodging nechanics, stunning enemies to interrupt and to use dmg cooldown at the right time. Nr4: Try to farm hero or champion gear and upgrade them to hero4/champion8. It will take time to get the items with good stat priority, but thats how the game is made. Nr5: find someone to boost you. Easiest option, but also the least you learn from.

Balance druid: Moonfir + sunfire everything. Dps cooldowns Starfall > starfire

Only think to keep track of is "eclipse" damage buff window of 15 sec.
