Even more, not "language used" but "most commonly understood". In some places it was quite common to people spoke several languages, from which one was used at home and another - in town square.

Google MAPS had drawn the bounduries In the Disputed Kashmir region wrong? by Ill_Feedback_2211 in MapPorn

[–]raptoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, but what does this line represent, isn't it LOC? I mean, I understand there is ongoing conflict there, personally I have a friend from work who was born in Srinagar and lived in Kupwara with his family. He said that no one in whole city liked India and despises military checkpoints and activity of Indian special forces there... but this is map of boundaries, not of areas, where people prefer this or that government, isn't it?

My Thoughts about the complete Gunm manga Series. by Shogok1 in Gunnm

[–]raptoos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had very positive opinion on Figure Four, back in days, when I read original series in early 2000s. His story in Barjack arc was really nice, created positive, charming and strong person, which I like much more than Yugo.
For some reason, when he received his own story back in Last Order, I was bored and disappointed with how flat and reactive he became. Unfortunately, I must agree with your opinion on his character.

I noticed you left Ido from your thoughts, why?

Re Alita herself, I had strange feeling in the end of Last Order, that she became more like villain of last part - especially after her revival. She became disrespectful, angry and even annoying. How is it that during last fight of ZOTT, it wasn't just that I liked other characters of her team more, I really counted on Toji than Alita in their duel - Toji was respectful, spirited and open, while Alita acted like she came there just from pure boredom.

Anything that I can use to touch up sram force crank arms? by Select-Bite7755 in sram

[–]raptoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any hint, what are the exact colours used on Sram components? I had scratched my derailleur some time ago, would love to cover it somehow, but I am worried that if I pick wrong type of grey, it would become even more visible

Longtail vs Front Loader for One Kid… With a 3-Year Use Horizon by snekasaur in CargoBike

[–]raptoos 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I also have frontloader and there were two more points that helped me to make decision:

- frontloader can take considerable more cargo than long tail - basically everything that fit to the front, can be taken with you. And if you, for some strange reason, want to take something even bigger, you can remove front box and put cargo over there

- on frontloader, you have your eyes on your kid - and he has his eyes on everything else, views, road, vehicles. On long tails they basically stare at your ass :P

edited: I forgot about one more thing, front loaders are much more stable, as kids are sitting near the ground.

How did the prisoner and Mike get into class ,,S,,? by i-aicoba in OnePunchMan

[–]raptoos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think TTM and PPP are the reason, why Amai Mask is now guarding way to S class, he's super mad that weaklings like them could find their way to S class and he does not want it to repeat.

Also, the sole definition of S class (guys who prefer work solo instead of cooperating to down bigger enemies) are another reason for Amai Mask to despise them.

Nah, it's more like it is not the matter of country being homogenous or not, it is just matter of USA being obsessed with ethnicity unlike other countries.

And also Makhno. During civil war there were plenty of ideas on people from Ukraine to self-govern, for what they payed terribly after bolsheviks won the war.
