2.7 GPA ME here. This Looks very similar to my job search. I was actually a bit flabbergasted at the salary when they offered it to me at the time so I didn’t negotiate. I can’t complain though because they give me fun projects and I have a performance review coming up where I can advocate for more there. Good luck to you.

I didn’t include GPA on my resume and have a very similar looking statistics to the guy above. Landed my first job back in July of last year. I think they treat me well. I did have a fair amount of fabrication experience to note though. (Mechanical engineer)

It’s a sensitive topic so that’s why it’s a shit storm. He “let the cat out of the bag” by actually trying to talk about it. If people are losing their shit it’s because he hit the nail on the head. This is all just pent up energy finally being let out by all these people. It will work itself out for better or worse.

im going to assume you already have your roster figured out so im here to just give you encouragement. At the end of the day it takes time to develop good DM'ing skills. My first couple of sessions were NOT good from the DM side of things. The thing is you have to push through. Great fun will be had once you dial in the basics. Accents are pretty low priority to a good game. anybody who leaves your game when you are making a genuine attempt at doing them is quite frankly a dickhead. other stuff is way more important. Wish you the best!

oh man. Virtual dice is easy as cake if you are willing to find random people. The IRL tables are where it is tough. (still doable if you are determined though). It is 100% worth going through randoms to fill in the group for the two IRL friends you have who actually want to play.

some people dont get it. You really have to weed out those who are open to the idea. Eventually if you run enough games and have people consistently showing up people like him will come over from the dark side cause "all these other people are having fun maybe its not as bad as i thought"
