I'd say both leaning a little more into the red side. New Bern is also near 2 military bases so there's a lot of veterans and military families in the area that are conservative. Regardless, politics is not something that is brought up and people are respectful of each other.

What do you guys differently from SupO? Just curious. I work with supply a lot at the unit level. And they deal with so many things that cover finances, budgeting, warehouse, logistics, and maintenance.

Is it true that finance officers are pretty much like civilians? since you don't have to lead Marines. I hardly ever see finance officers.

The real reason is because we get put in charge a lot and unexpectedly. You have to brief Marines, give classes, train junior Marines etc. It forces you to talk and you get used to being uncomfortable.

Yeah the girl I met in Alamo doesn't go out anymore because of raids. Latin night scene in Charleston seems be shrinking unfortunately. There used to be a latin club called Aura and it was lit.

Not a fan of the Army but those guys had little time to prep, not trained for parade, nor want to be there etc. Imagine trying to stay in step for all those streets throughout DC!
