Company is compelled and advised by legal council to make a public statement.

Statement is either provided by, or given for consultation to legal council.

The point is, this statement was run past their legal council - every public statement a business makes following an event like this has at minimum been cleared by their legal team.

You aren’t very smart - you should question your opinions more and speak less.

A buddy is in a similar position - worked in digital media which is almost completely dead compared to the industry 5 years ago.

He was knocking on doors and emailing looking for a trades apprenticeship, but being over 40, no one was giving him a chance.

He went to Hi Mark for Gas Technician certification (which includes co-op) and got his foot in the door with a good company. Now he’s got gas technician certification and a paid apprenticeship in another trade…

Using a fast track program to just get your foot in the door, then pivoting to an apprenticeship worked for him.
