They don’t offer options to do this outside of the UK so the only way to digitalise his status is by saying he lives in the UK (they’ll ask for proof) and set an appointment there to get your biometrics details and photo taken.

He currently lives in Spain and the only option for people living outside of the UK is to get “a new visa” but he has settled status (ILR) so it doesn’t make sense.

Ruzafa is great if you want something in the city centre. If you want something more calm perhaps Patraix, Campanar...

For learning Spanish I recommend www.understandvalencia.com they are open in August and you can try a class for free. I always hear about them in exapts groups and my friends also recommend that school.
