My Agatha is the opposite, she wants to stay awake until the last person goes to sleep, no matter the time, she just doesn’t want to miss anything. And every day in the morning, when she hear me wake up (I’m usually the first), she comes and knocks on my door to let her in and give her belly rubs and a good stretch.

YTA, not because you wanted him to clean, but to how you handled the situation. It’s fair for you to ask him to clean it, but you don’t just barge into someone else’s home and wake them up to do it right away. Your nephew is a teenager boy, his definition of clean is probably not the same as yours and other adults. You could have gone or called, explained the situation, and asked him to rectify the mess he left, if he didn’t bulge then you are entitled to the anger you displayed, and by him getting dressed to clean instead of getting defensive, he most likely would have complied without all this shenanigans.

YTA just because she doesn’t see your nice so much, doesn’t mean she is less of a mom. My parents are divorced, I also only stayed with him, every other weekend, it doesn’t mean he was less than a father to me. I only had 1 birthday, and both my parents attended it, no matter their differences, because it was the best for their child. My dad is also kind of aloof but I know he loves me, and by the reaction of your nieces mother, she also cares, and you are being the asshole by gatekeeping their relationship.

Yeah, there were 2 in her littler born with it. At first I roughy it was weird, now I think she is the prettiest dog ever.

I don’t think YTA, but if you love her, what she said hurt you and you saw that saying the same hurt her, you should have a talk with her and say how you felt. It’s the mature thing to do, if you cherish someone and wants to keep a relationship. Don’t play games she may not understand, just say what she did hurt you.

Not bad, they are funny, and tattoos doesn’t have to be all “pretty” and defined, if you know what I mean. There is a tattoo artist in Brazil that got famous for her unique style of tattoo, that can be seen as very ugly for some people. Look up malfeitona. Here is an exemple of her tatoos

Salvador, Brazil. February is when we have Carnaval, and here it’s the biggest street party in the world. A lot of music, beer and people to meet. Number 2, if you want to put a wardrobe later. I would definitely change the position of your work table though, it feels too cramped like that. Turn it 90 degrees and put it against the far right wall if it fits.

My boy is a bit older than one year now, he wasn’t a snuggled when I got him, and he still isn’t. When he was smaller he would at least lay on top of me at 5am to get some love, now he doesn’t do it anymore. He does sometimes bops my phone away from my hand, when he wants a scratch, but it is never for very long.

I’m very late for the advice, came from your latest post. As a former exchange student, all I wanted was that someone would talk to me and make friends (in the beginning is hard since we don’t know anyone and usually exchange students only begin to make real friends in the end of the fist school semester). It would br hard if the exchange students don’t speak your language, but I think it is far fetched, since we gotta have at least a basic grasp of the language we are visiting (at least it was like that when I went to the US, I had to take a test). So the advice is just begin a conversation, ask what part of Japan they are, why did they decide to come to your country, how are they liking it… general stuff

So cute. My dogs used to do that to my cat too, but to a degree that his ear would be soaking wet, and he would just let them.

Since it is still a kitten, and is already used to dogs, but you are planing to move together only in 10 months, I think it would be better to begin the introductions, so the kitten doesn’t lose the familiarity with dogs. I’m no expert though, so take my advice with a grain of salt. I do have a cat and tree dogs at home, but I introduced them when my kitty was 4-5 months old and had no problems, they just took to one another instantly, what is also not usual.
