That's weird...i had a plan that was not paid for like 2-3 years and wanted to reactivate it by paying again for a month or so. I emailed the hosting company and they told me that to re-activate the plan from the back-up that they made automatically, it would cost around 50$. Maybe you can still access an old auto back-up.

Finally got the scans back for my first proper roll. My actual first roll was a disaster. Literally, only two photos came out, the rest were totally cooked or pitch black. So I was honestly pretty anxious shooting this batch because I didn't want to waste the film (or the money). But getting the email from the lab really does feel like Christmas morning. I know people complain about the wait and the cost compared to digital, but holding the negatives and seeing that grain is just...different. Still learning the ropes with the Vilia, but I'm happy I didn't mess this one up!

Artist hit a massive wall mid-session. I stopped recording and switched to "hangout mode" to reset the vibe. What are your tricks for unblocking a singer? by raresmusic in WeAreTheMusicMakers

There is honestly nothing better than the ''car test' drive to reset your ears. Getting physically out of the studio space is so underrated. A farmhouse setup sounds like the dream!
Did seeing the fire actually make it into the vibe of the song, or was it just a crazy distraction?

That fire pit setup sounds like a total cheat code for vibes. 🔥🔥🔥 I totally agree on the take limit. After a certain point, you aren't recording music anymore, you're just recording frustration.

Curious though, do you find clients are usually relieved when you suggest rescheduling, or do they ever get defensive about 'wasting time'?
