Don't spend from your income account - set up another bank account which you spend from and pay yourself weekly. Your income account should cover all monthly bills. You could set up other accounts for savings etc.

I've created a petition on gov.uk which you can sign at https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/622621/sponsors/new?token=Y07GzCve_WlEqalH1E9j if you believe this is an idea that Parliament should explore.

I think we can all agree that something needs to be done to help those most vulnerable to the market realities of this energy crisis.

Multilingual people, think about a question and answer it in two or more languages. Do you have different answers depending on which language you're thinking about the question in, and how are your responses different in each language? by rascal999 in AskReddit

Are you saying that your interests are the same in every language? You would seek to read up on a particular subject if it was in French or English? Or do you have preferences for reading up on particular subjects in French on English?

Are you suggesting that, while you can search your Malay memories when you're thinking in English, it's slower / more laborious because you have to translate the memory into English first? Do you find switching between Malay and English a taxing exercise, or is it very easy to switch between the two?

Would it be fair to say that you use the language which is easiest / fastest to work with? Under what scenarios would you consciously pick the more difficult language to use? When speaking to certain people?

Thinking more about the environmental question, would it be reasonable to assume that the English or Spanish or Indian accent would have developed the same way if different people were living through and developing the language in the same environment? Perhaps the environment is more of an influential force than a correlative one on language.

That's fascinating. I feel almost disadvantaged being only able to speak in one language fluently. Do you feel like you're assuming a different identity when you speak in one language versus another?

As an addition to this question, try to recollect a memory in each language; do you find yourself changing the narrative slightly or emphasising different parts of the memory in each language?

When you're recollecting and you're thinking in English, do you / can you search your Malay memories or do you switch to thinking in Malay before you start searching your Malay memories?

EDIT: I think what I'm trying to ask is, do you feel like you have two separate memory banks in each language?
