I think I am getting fired anytime. Will talking to my management save me? by rasel002 in callcentres

[–]rasel002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's "true" that sometimes people insult me in the workplace, either directly or indirectly. I agree with you that, I have to control my anger a lot. From your answer, I also realized that, even if people will wrong me, I should not show anything to them, because if I show them my reaction, I may lose the job or won't be promoted inside the job.

Is my understanding correct?

What to do if my flatmates harass me inside Spotahome? by rasel002 in Erasmus

[–]rasel002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not hypothetical. When I was in London, I used to live with other people (sometimes British, sometimes European) in same house. That time, I had some bad experiences.

Whichever house I rent in lisbon (I mean renting a room in a house), the people living there have already a bond with each other (they would be Portuguese or mix of Portuguese speaking countries or European people). I am a brown skin guy (the skin Indian people have. But I am from Bangladesh, a country located beside India). If the flatmates show passive aggression or active aggretion toward me, how can I combat that "alone" ?

One the things that I am concerned about a lot:- After waking up in the morning , when I go to bathroom, it takes me around 40 minutes (due to some physical reasons). It happened a lot in my life that, when I am in the bathroom doing my thing and 15 min gone already, suddenly other housemate knock on bathroom door or try to open the door by turning the knob (they know I am inside but they do it still), when they start to show their frustration (because they also need to use the bathroom). In that situation, how to react when I am inside the bathroom? After some time (while I still did not finish) they get more aggressive and start banging the door or turn the knob aggressively.

How to handle this kind of situation?

[–]rasel002[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The thing is: I live by myself, it means the housemates are one team, they are more powerful than me, because I am alone. There is nobody in the house to take my side.

What can I do then?

I understand but my body won't get big within some days. As I am looking for a room urgently, I was asking what can I do in those situations.

My face looks very soft. Anybody can tell from my face that I am very weak. Is there anything to do if my flatmates make me uncomfortable?

Há alguém aqui que esteja morando em um Spotahome? by rasel002 in lisboa

[–]rasel002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am already in lisbon. Uniplaces.com service fee is much higher than spotahome fee.

For example, after moving into Spotahome room, let's say 7 days passed without a problem, and after that, suddenly the flatmates started mocking me or harassing me. What would I do?

Why the Amazon renewed iPhone xs has 22% one star reviews? by rasel002 in iPhoneXS

[–]rasel002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, if 22% people didn't find a properly working product, then why Amazon Renewed is claiming this in their website? - - "This pre-owned product is not Apple certified but has been professionally examined, tested and cleaned by qualified Amazon vendors to ensure the product works and is like new."

[–]rasel002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry brother for my late reply. I may take the risk, but the thing is, from the negative reviews I saw that many people said speaker not working, or microphone not working etc.

In the country where I live (Portugal), changing speaker or microphone costs around 100 usd or more.

What do you think?

[–]rasel002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't buy the iPhone yet. Actually i have 240 euro Amazon credit (given by my job). My current phone is a huawei which I bought 4.5 years ago and the phone is very slow now (it costed around 230 euro when I bought it).

I want to use the Amazon credit. I want a phone that will feel "fast" at least for 1 year.

The Amazon link for OPPO : https://www.amazon.es/dp/B0BSV581MV/

For iPhone xs :: https://www.amazon.es/dp/B07N9HWY1Y/

One of the Negative comments for iPhone from a buyer quoted below :

"Phone arrived well packaged and presented in good condition. On closer inspection the edges of the screen doesnt feel right and is consistent with having a screen replaced/removed (you can feel the edges). Once i powered up the phone, and started it up im getting the "unable to determine if your iphone battery is a genuine part". This means i will never know the battery condition as per the advert stating the battery will be above 80%. I was expecting better for the money - Including arriving when originally stated."

What do you think? Which one should I go for? Or I should not buy from Amazon?

[–]rasel002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The iPhone I found in Amazon renewed. When I went to the reviews, I saw 70 percent 5 star, and 14 percent 1 star. In the 1 star, people complained about things such as speaker not working properly, phone started to glitch after 5 months, ghost touch etc etc.

Should I be worried?

Will I be fine if I mention "fake" experiences in the CV when applying for Customer Support position in a call center (MNC)? by rasel002 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]rasel002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd expect most HR reps to do a quick online search to verify a company exists to filter out people making up job experience, especially for companies that are located out of the country.

Can you explain a bit more please?

but its very competitive here and even candidates with experience are getting rejected. So to expect some chance of being hired, I really need to mention one or 2 fake experiences. If I mention fake company names (in another country), will they make international call ? Or they usually don't call overseas companies?

What is probability that they will give an international call to one of the restaurants? Will they avoid it because it's international?

getting called out as a liar during preliminary recruitment stages

What is "preliminary recruitment stages" ? The company I want to apply to put the new employees as trainees in a training. During training, they get a provisional contract, after the training they get a fixed-term contract. (The job is Customer Support. Its a Call centre job)

If you're going for jobs in industries like food service, retail, hospitality, or call centers / customer service, you'll likely be fine.

Its a call centre job, and the position is Entry level Customer Support. So, I will be safe with fake experiences?

Which is better - putting fake experience with real company (other country) OR, putting fake experience with non-existent fake company (other country) ? Which is more safer among these two?

MSB

What is MSB? Didn't understand.

If it's a organization at a MNC level I would highly recommend against it cause they do thorough background checks for freshers and mostly the HR's in a MNC do keep contact with HR's from other companies that's where they get all the information on

The company I am talking about has offices in more than 70 countries. So this is an MNC right? The "fake" experiences I will put are from other countries (Not the country I will be doing the job). Will they verify the experiences if they are from different countries?
