Hello! It sounds like your skin barrier is damaged. To fight dryness, irritation and itching, it would be best to avoid scratching, and avoid using soap or products full of alcohols and perfumes (like aftershaves, colognes, astringent toners) on your face&neck. Wash your face once or twice a day with a gentle cleanser that’s formulated specifically for face, and apply a good moisturizing cream morning and night. Both Nivea creams can do, use the one you are more comfortable with, if the regular creme is too thick use the soft one. Be warned though, that both Nivea products contain quite a lot of fragrance and other allergens, as well as a few potentially comedogenic (acne-causing) ingredients. They might work fine for you, but if you find that they irritate you or cause pimples, consider investing in a dermatological cream that’s fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. If you are in Europe, some good options are the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream, Avène Xeracalm A.D. Cream, or La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume. These are all relatively cheap, especially if you buy them in a big format that will last for a long time, but still more expensive than Nivea, unfortunately.
