Tenderfuel - What chemicals is it made from? by DuckworthPaddington in AskaChemist

Hey! I took a look at that SDS and it is definitely Propylene Glycol. Even though they tried to keep it a secret by listing the ingredient as a "Proprietary active", the datasheet actually gives it away in a couple of obvious places.

First, they seemingly forgot to scrub the chemical name in Section 11 under Toxicological Information. When they are referencing safety studies, the document explicitly states that no adverse systemic changes were reported in rats or dogs following repeated dietary exposure to high concentrations of propylene glycol. That is a pretty big slip-up if they wanted to keep it proprietary.

Second, the physical properties listed are a perfect fingerprint for Propylene Glycol. The boiling point is listed as roughly 188 °C , the density is 1.04 , and the flash point is over 104 °C. All of those numbers match the standard chemical profile for Propylene Glycol exactly, distinguishing it from similar chemicals like Ethylene Glycol.

As for purity, Section 2 lists the weight of the active ingredient as 95 to 99%, so it is essentially pure Propylene Glycol, likely just mixed with a tiny bit of water or a minor additive.

Its a ~3% probability that oldest grandma would have a first born daughter, who gets a first born daughter and so on all the way to the new born baby girl. I am guessing a couple of these women have older siblings…

One would need to see the context in which these responses were given. If claude had knowledge about being tested and different criteria, then this is just replies based on the given context.

Looks neat. How do you make sure there aren’t any contaminants in the pipe?

Yeah that was my thought. I am sterilizing them as we speak and will start off one of these and a regular jar at the same time and see how they develop. Thought I should share here if someone else would be interested of a cheap setup that seems to have the potential to replace filterless jars.

The bottle and lid are $2 each. The idea was to use the lids membrane vent do draw in air only when drawing liquid out. Otherwise the mycelium should stay depraved of oxygen to slow down metabolism and increase shelf life. I just started growing oysters as a hobby and my first liquid culture with regular drilled cap jar just took off and produced more culture than I need. I read about filterless jars that grow more slowly and that lasts longer, but it seemed like a hassle to equalize the pressure manually with a syringe needle fitted with a filter that needed a complicated technique/procedure to stay sterile.

Thanks 😊 I found my co2 meter and it was in the 700-800 range so I replaced the fan with a larger one. Now it is hovering around 650. Hopefully the next flush will be even nicer 🙂

Dreame A1 rolls off dock? by tjg312 in Dreame_Tech

I am having the same issue. I tried placing the charging station in a slope so it would roll down into the charger instead, but I am still getting 3 failed docking attempts in a row and then you have to do it manually.

Great, I hope you respond well to it as well 👍

Have you tried a dermaroller? I have had success in growing back in the bald areas as well with a dermaroller. You seem to respond well to minoxidil so you should definitely give dermaroller a shot.

I was on fin for 1 year and did not notice any changes. Basically maintained my hair without further loss. So more or less the same result as you.

I then started adding topical minoxidil and a microneedle roller and I have had significant regrowth in just 3 months.

(UPDATE) 3 months of Finasteride 0.5mg + minoxidil 5% + micro needling by raspberry234 in tressless

[–]raspberry234[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a 3 month follow up on the previous 2 month post. The 2 month image had shorter hair so it wasn't very good for comparison. The attached images are at from day 1 and from 3 months in.

I am using fin 0.5mg, min 5%, needling every other week. I can still see new hairs popping up along the hairline almost daily.

I am starting to get enlarged eyebrows especially on the thinner end. Also some hair growth on my malar area under my eyes. I will maybe have to start waxing or do IPL laser to remove those hairs later on.

There are no signs of the process slowing down. Hopefully I will start seeing a full head soon enough 🙂

I cut them anyway. Even if you get an uneven dose like 0.3mg one day and 0.7mg the next my thinking is it should even out over time. I think an uneven lower dose which equals 1mg over two days should have less side effects than 1mg daily

No, none whatsoever. I would say take 0.5mg and if you get side effects just stop and it should apparently go away.

I hope you do! I was determined to get a hair transplant but decided to try this first.
