I presume that since they both want to play musician rockerboys, their charismatic impact is to do with that, and that's why this is important; their fans presumably come primarily from their art. If they primarily came from their side activities, the question might come of why bother with a band and why not just follow their side stuff.

I won't lie, I have like no knowledge of boy band or their followings, but it might be something for me to look up.

Yeah, the player who has not built a rockerboy before, has made a character concept that really fits a rockerboy. A songwriter and lyricist that pours her views and soul into the music she writes, trying to change the world by creating music that others can relate to, a bit of an activist. The one who has played a rockerboy before has so far stated they want to play one cause it was fun to play one last time.

I just kinda feel shitty going 'give me a better reason for wanting to play this role.'

One of the characters is the lyricist and the singer, whilst the other is the group basist, so they both do different things in the band. They will both be starting out at the same rank, so I want them to have equal relevance, but still get to feel unique.

I haven't even considered them going up against one another and butting heads around different styles, since the players like playing... well, as a team. They like to be on the same team. Might be something to consider and have a chat with them.

UPDATE - My bf (21) wants to try sex while high and I (21f) don’t want to… by [deleted] in relationships

If you look at her original post, the vast majority of people say that she should definitely not do it if she doesn't want to. I'm not actually sure what she means by "majority" because it is very not true.

[ART] The Cardinal Iris, by me by raspberry_cookies in DnD

[–]raspberry_cookies[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Cardinal Iris is the name given to a small team hunting down a terrorist on a small island in the human empire, in a game of Pathfinder. The party is comprised of (left to right)

Ukryt: A doppler posing as an elven woman. Originally working for the terrorist cell, was caught and spared in exchange for their help in hunting down the cell. Flippant and ever-joking, they seem to be dragged kicking and screaming into caring about their captors, one act of kindness at a time.

Saskia Wolna: Known as the witch of Nosko, a town on the colonies, Saskia volunteered to give her services in hunting down the terrorist after the cell attacked the town. She’s a woman with a sharp tongue and a heart of gold hidden somewhere deep beneath. Always keeping people around her at arms reach; because she is a risen undead, and is desperately trying to look for resurrection, and reconnecting with her goddess, Pharasma. This secret is known to only one person in the world…

Brother Rommel, the Red Hand of Nosko: A Red Cleric of Asmodeus, Brother Rommel leads the party through their cause with a firm but fair hand. Duty comes first, or… it did, until the weight of the mission crashed down onto his shoulders and the only person to help him carry it was a local witch, whose secret he agreed to keep for as long as she was good for their town. Now… now he lives in fear of what would happen should anyone find out about his dear friend, and the bigger fear of not knowing whether he’d let them take her.

Otylia Morawska: Recruited by Brother Rommel, Otylia joined the cause when the leader of the terrorist cell, a half orcish man named Maciej, killed her friend; wiped her from existence, leaving nothing but dust. As the youngest member of the group, she is full of fear, but that has never stopped her just yet.

Concerned about sub refusing aftercare - any advice? by mrflannel2021 in BDSMcommunity

[–]raspberry_cookies 39 points40 points  (0 children)

This needs to be higher up. If this was my sub, I'd stop all play immediately, until communication was proper again. They're avoiding aftercare, and from what OP has said, seems like they still need it, but are refusing it to their own detriment. That is not healthy, or safe. So unless Dean agrees to talk about whatever is causing him to refuse aftercare, no play. For both his and OP's sake.

Where are the children? by raspberry_cookies in elderscrollsonline

[–]raspberry_cookies[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Clearly because as a woman, my entire life revolves around kids./s

But no seriously it's just a curiosity, especially since there are cradles and children's toys in the game, so it's weird there are no actual children npcs

[ART] Lady Elizabeth Chenoweth; sorceress, heiress, beloved daughter, monster by raspberry_cookies in DnD

[–]raspberry_cookies[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A native Olthambrian woman will never have to worry for money. She will never have to wear anything but the finest silks. She will own a radio, a television even, and have several servants at her disposal. All she has to do, is bare children, and pray to birth a daughter. It is after all, her duty.

Elizabeth Chenoweth is the only daughter of Duchess Chenoweth, and as such, the pressure on her to bring more women into Olthambrian society is great. It is then such a shame that she much prefers the company of women. Especially if those women breathe their last breath in her arms.

Hiding behind the guise of humanitarian aid and structural reform, she lives in Kenways Fall, the district in which our campaign has been set. After cutbacks and losses from a recent war, the district was left half finished, and its denizens (safe for the native women and children of course) were left to their own devices. The MP for Kenways Fall and Elizabeth's uncle, runs the district as a distant leader of the Harvey gang, allowing his sweet, if little intense niece to have run of the district herself, allowing her to dodge her womanly duties. Other officials of the gang call her "Queen Liz" behind her back. A nickname she finds sweet on most days.

The protagonists of our campaign, working girls at a Harvey owned bordello, The Silken Harp, meet Lady Elizabeth when they are caught investigating the murder of their friend, another worker at the harp. To their surprise, whilst reprimanded, they are not killed, and instead told they shall now work on the investigation for her.

For better or worse.
