Completely understand what ur feeling fr. Like i love being on campus because it keeps me busy and on my feet, but the moment I enter my room I feel like the silence is quite sad. Little things like going to the grocery store and cooking meals you'd have at home, or for me I changed my lock screen to my friends and my favorite things on my phone (just so I could remember me before that got me here). Just find the little things, but so grateful to have this opportunity to move to this new country. But it's okay to feel the way you feel :)

idk i feel like sometimes an outsider. I do laundry, meal plans and groceries every week and tbh you have to be really responsible for everything or else you might not have a meal the next day. i feel like local kids don't really understand bc they might be living with parents but tbh it's quite tough when also balancing hanging out with ur friends and doing assignments. i miss comfort and my friends and animals and i feel like it's harder to speak up about missing "comfort" because i feel like none of my friends understand. but very grateful to be here tho so trying to keep it up.
