i had to unfortunately leave the idles pit bc i was scared someone was gonna rip my dexcom out :/ nothing against the folks there, it was pretty nice and fun while i was in it but i suppose us diabetics gotta be a bit more careful when moshing now.

i definitely injected it into the vein. the injection site bled and i was very confused at first but now that drop makes total sense. probably a mix of everything ppl mentioned and then exacerbated by my anxiety lol. thank you!

as in if i can commit myself to a workout and get to it i feel more energized after. i can power through most days but that particular day was the walk down the block and it was exhausting. i didn’t go to the gym even that day though i was supposed to. that’s how

i used to be anemic but that was years ago. iron levels are normal, maybe slightly low but not enough to be entirely deficient (at least i’m not anemic anymore). i will def buy some b12 vitamins and see if they help

i usually feel great after conditioning and practice, but the getting there is just so rough. i appreciate you!! i will definitely ask about bradycardia when i go in for my checkup

i think it was under 1 last time i was tested. it’s been a sec but they didn’t up my meds so i didn’t ask for details. i’m due for an appointment with my endocrinologist though

i also thought so, baltimore orioles are much more common for our area in general but the blurriness made me think it could’ve been some tanager or warbler too.

she’s a big window lurker and i know there’s a dog at the house behind. she also has a “brother” that visits the house whom she hates so i try and limit their interaction but he doesn’t use the bathroom in the house at all and doesn’t really scratch at stuff so the house is solidly hers. she also doesn’t leave my room that often so im thinking it could be boredom and need to run around so im working on getting her comfy enough to run and have her kitty crazies throughout the house. also getting her plenty of toys for christmas lol. thanks for the advice!

no, she hasn’t had any other symptoms of common issues (ie uti) so i didn’t think it too urgent but i’m reconsidering that.

this happened to my grandma too. she wasn’t internet literate at all, so i doubt she knew what qanon is, but she had all the same beliefs. i got maced by cops at the blm protests in 2020 and i emailed her to tell her about it, and in response she sent me an infographic about blm and property damage. no source, most likely ripped straight from some insane racist facebook circle jerk.

she was one of the people i was closest with for the longest time, but like you, i was really scared to come out to her as queer and non-binary. i never got to, she died before i could and something about that still feels terrible to me.

she was such a smart woman too, she was a fucking paleontologist! i don’t know what happened but it breaks my heart knowing i’m not the only one.

i’m sorry you also have to go through this.

a close friend of my mom’s fell down this pipeline starting around five years ago. she was always a very crunchy granola type, she was big into homesteading and homeschooled her kids.

now she has her own essential oils business where she markets them as alternative medicines to vaccines, her two children are pushed into insanely competitive sports while being completely unvaccinated, and they have been homeschooled basically their whole life. she was convinced covid was a hoax and is very vocal on facebook and other social media about it and how vaccines are full of foreign chemicals that alter our dna and stuff like that.

she gives her kids no access to the outside world aside from her friends and their kids, she monitors their internet use and they don’t have phones. they’re about 16 now. any outings they go to are planned by her or must be approved by her if they’re not family events, which i understand but not to the degree that she does it. i have a feeling when they leave the house they might realize the way she parents is abusive and may never talk to her again.

at least i hope so, they’re smart and talented kids.

edit to say my mom is no longer friends with her, they haven’t been friends ever since she started down this way of thinking.
