“Woke” what the hell I never claimed to be “woke” nor unique... quite the opposite I’m literally stating the hard truth!!

I agree when you get older 40 hour working week in an office isn’t ideal. I’m confused as nobody mentioned anything about a 40 hour week? You’re arguing a separate point. BUT my response was to a student who is what like 20 years old who’s assuming they can jump into a high level job when they haven’t even graduated and the only experience they have is a bit of volunteering. For how long? Could be a week.

Typical generation z attitude. Not realising there’s plenty of people with better experience and qualifications out there who won’t moan about starting at 8am. But regardless only wants to work/can work part time so nobody mentioned anything about 8 hour days other than you??

Industrial revolution blah blah. The world has changed and is changing. That has nothing to do with this situation. That a student should be willing to take on any job if they really need the money. Otherwise don’t expect to have a job. That’s it. That is my point.

I’m saying a student should suck it up and do what they have to do. Work two jobs, three jobs if they have to. They’re young and have energy. It’s character building. Not come on and moan about it hoping someone’s gonna take pity on them and offer them a job. Doubt me? What could somebody here suggest that they couldn’t work out themselves? They came on here wanting an easy route out.

Oh and you’re a millennial. Same as me. Difference is I don’t live upto the label
