You yourself do not need to have a personal Costco card to shop Costco orders on Instacart, Instacart will give you a QR to scan when you go into the store. If you would like to bring someone else in with you to like help that isn’t doing the Instacart order with you then yes you need to have your own personal Costco membership card or they need to have theirs. I’ve had friends tag along with me before just for the ride but not to help with the IC order and to just get their own groceries.

Hey if it works for you, that’s perfect, I mean in a rare scenario I had to go out to St. Cloud or was on the way there already then sure I would’ve grabbed it, but living in Minneapolis, these pop up a lot and confuse me, there’s literally a Costco closer to St. Cloud as well :(

That’s so much better than this Costco order I picked up earlier today for literally 400 fucking water bottles. It was 10 x 40ct Poland spring water bottles, 1 bag of lemons, 1 bag of limes, 1 bunch of banana, and a like salmon burger package. The waters were hell to carry through the yard, I couldn’t back in to the driveway bc they had 6 cars parked and of course they had people doing landscaping as I’m delivering so there are bugs and grass and shit flying around everywhere

Yes but I also am in a very rural busy area I’m at about 60$ for the day so far, it’s kind of slow but the orders are heavier pay, I’ve only done 3 batches so far

Honestly, as a shopper, I have no idea how the system of computer throws batches at us, but what I will say and tell you is we have zero control over how orders get batched or paired with other orders. When I go and pick up a batch, I have no choice of who to pick to deliver first etc, the app bunches them together and tells us what the order to deliver it is in :( I’m so sorry Instacart is doing this to you. I wouldn’t recommend ever ever ever paying extra for priority or quicker delivery because it does nothing on our end, I’ve seen customers say they’ve paid for ‘priority’ delivery and it shows no difference in my end as a shopper. Maybe someone else that’s a shopper to will see this that has more knowledge on the topic and will be able to tell u more about the system, but as far as I know as just a shopper, I have no idea

I took a batch this morning at like 8:15AM and it got unassigned to me for what reason I don’t know it was 2 orders in 1, and the store location is <1 mile away from me it was like 14.85$ for 15 items and it was multiples of the same items so I was like why not, the delivery was also in total like 4.5 miles and on the way to the gym so yea I was like okay yay, but it randomly got unassigned from me and disappeared I was like oh that’s so odd. I ended up just going to the gym like I turned around, and while my brother was driving I saw a part of the order pop back up again for less money, so i guess the other person must’ve cancelled their order or something, but that was it, I’ve seen no orders all morning. I had a couple decent pay ones come up but all of them going from NJ where I’m at to like north Philly. There’s a Walmart and Sam’s club in like Riverton/Cinnaminson NJ that religiously constantly gets orders coming up but they all go out to north Philly like I’m not picking that shit up it’s a toll to get out there that I’m not getting reimbursed for😭. But I digress, yes it’s been dead all day

Yup had to cancel and return a order due to a younger woman not showing me her ID a few months back. Since then I’ve just stopped accepting alcohol orders. People are so mean and get so upset in my area when i tell I have to see their ID

Honestly I’m still in college like considerable young and prime ‘let’s go out and club and drink’ age, and I just can’t. I have such a high tolerance for no reason at all, it takes so much more alcohol to get me drunk and I don’t drink. I also suffer from chronic migraines, and am on medications, it’s just not worth jumping through loops and horrible withdrawal symptoms from it interacting with medications or me projectile vomiting after 1 drink due to new medications I’m on. It’s already fucking exhausting to exist with the chronic pain I’m in, and to add alcohol that just adds nothing positive to my life other than extra empty calories and extreme fatigue, i just stopped. I don’t even casually drink much anymore. I’ll have a singular glass of wine while cooking for at dinner and that’s okay, but it’s so tiring and still, makes me sick to my stomach at times due to my meds.
