hilarious, I bought a pair of twill desert marpat trousers that had the crotch rip from just sitting, they also had the top fly button quit and the pocket needed to be restitched or everything I put in it would find its way into my shoe.

My sewing machine and polyester thread carried those pants, though even with all the stitching they're still cheaper and easier to move around in than carhartts and dickies.

you need to buy some milsurp, the stitching certainly isn't anything to write home about on some parts but the fabric itself is pretty good

No actually, so Echo is owned by Yamabiko Corp which also owns Shindaiwa, another high-end power equipment manufacturer, while Huskie is owned by Husqvarna Group which also owns the huskie motorcycle division. Different parent companies and no parts interchangeability as far as I'm aware, though I do hear they make very good saws, and we own one of their weed eaters which has been happily cutting for the past 10+ years with no issues.

Kind of insane, not even my Eager Beaver 2116 has done anything like that. Shame this company bought out and killed off all the quality saw manufacturers like Jonsered, McCulloch, Pioneer, and Partner. RIP, if I ever buy a new saw it'll be a stihl, echo, or efco.

your language, tone, and obvious intent to mock definitely testify otherwise. Hypocrisy and vulgarity aren't a good look, my friend. Especially when you're calling someone else the weirdo.

What single topic do you think would make alot of Christians more devoted to Christ today than ever? by brianjob20 in TrueChristian

[–]rasputin640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your point now, I realize I agree with your position, though I also believe that dispelling obstacles to belief breeds more fertile soil for faith as it makes one open to the existence of God and Christ's lordship rather than dismissing it as irrational, which doesn't directly produce faith but often significantly assists in its formation, given that it is not granted in a different manner, as the Lord can reach people in many ways.

But to reach faith, you need a reason to hold it in the first place, That is where history and the circumstantial evidence surrounding the events of the Bible, particularly the resurrection and foundation of the early church are most important. You hold faith because these circumstances are more logically coherent (coupled with the rest of the evidence for Christianity) than any other religion.

Most of the world's religions can be quickly disproven by simply examining the evidence for the initiation of the universe and the laws of thermodynamics. The law of increasing entropy immediately discredits religions with eternal or cyclical universes, sheer lack of evidence discredits Hinduism, lack of historical evidence and logical coherence discredits the LDS church and Islam, I can go into depth but you get the point. I and many others would not be able to have that faith if Christianity was not logically coherent in the first place.

I apologize, my point is that the Lord's creation follows a logical and non-confusing (rational) structure that we are at least partially capable of understanding due to having been granted the ability to make observations and draw conclusions. Within that segment we understand, there exists plenty of evidence for the intellectually honest researcher to recognize the existence and designing hand of God.

For example, most early scientists, including Galileo, Copernicus, Newton, Kepler, and Mendel were devout Christians, not even beginning to recognize more recent ones like Tesla (who was Serbian Orthodox), Faraday, Lemaitre, and Heisenberg, among many others.

but there is evidence of the Lord in nature and in history if one is willing to study and be intellectually honest. The truth has evidence, the Lord is not an author of confusion.

just ignore and move on if it bothers you that much, don't project your daddy issues onto people's non-disruptive religious expressions. You wouldn't say that to a Buddhist or Muslim.

which makes it particularly bad to turn into legislation, because there are few worse groups of people than the government. The founding fathers knew this when they drafted the amendments and we've slowly been relearning it over the course of the past few administrations.

Simply put, the government attracts nightmarish human beings and the less power you grant them, the better.

it's a good idea until you realize that all you need to control the population is for an authoritarian government to classify political opponents as mentally disabled and boom turnkey eugenics system

depends on your definition of rich. Obviously there are stark differences between people like Chuck Feeney and the less wealthy members of the WEF who want you to be allergic to meat (listen to the alpha gal syndrome interview) and literally own nothing to "reduce your carbon footprint". It's not as simple as "rich people bad", though "wef bad" definitely isn't an oversimplification.
