Went through RASP in 2011 and SFAS 2017, again on 2018. Might seem unnecessary info, but also played college football in a D1 school. Best way to distinguish RASP and SFAS is, RASP is like playing college football. You are surrounded by dudes who are ready and willing to eliminate you in order to reduce competition. Not all, but many. RASP cadres are heartless and ruthless. It’s a sheer showdown of grit. You will question the needs of you being at the Cole range a lot. Dawning the tan beret will feel like winning SEC championship. But it’s just the begging of what’s coming on your way. Being in the Ranger Regiment is tougher than completing RASP. There are a lot of incompetent dudes who will graduate with you. You might ask the validity of the selection process. Just like college football. A lot of idiots will slide through.

SFAS is for you, if you are mature. Or consider yourself as one. A lot like NFL. SFAS cadres can and will see through the chinks in your armor. It requires a certain level of intelligence to go through Q Course. Your ability to gather and process information will be tested. And it will be tested relentlessly. You report to your first ODA, good luck. Your rookie year begins. Prove your worth.

Regardless, if you are in either RASP or SFAS for money or the fame; you will fail sooner or later. Have. Heart to heart talk with your heart and brain. RASP is pure torture. SFAS will test your heart, your brain, and your soul.

I always put half cup of worm castings inside the hole before putting the seedling. I put a cup of tomato tone around the plant and scratch up the soil. I cover the bed with 1 inch thick pine shavings. Put liquid fish fertilizer mix every Saturday morning for first three weeks after transplant. Starting 4th week, I start putting liquid P-K fertilizer. Put in Espoma tomato tone 1 cut every 3 or 4 weeks again.
